On the 17th of this month (November 2023), our youngest son Jon (28yo) died of an accidental drug and alcohol overdose.
This is the third son we have lost, and the only one I’m not absolutely sure died believing in Jesus. Ryan was stillborn at 8 1/2 months in 1987, and Jared was killed instantly by a falling tree in 2006, aged 20.
I’m asking God to please give me confirmation that Jon is with Him right now (dream, etc.), and that He would touch our two remaining children’s lives (Ben, 39yo, and Sarah, 30), so that we can all be together again someday in His kingdom.
On a happier note, my wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary today, although it was sad, too.
Please pray for us in this difficult time, and for confirmation please.🙏✝️

We too lost our precious oldest son, he was 35, Fentanyl killed him. He had been a user for many years. He died in 2021. Our hearts were broken. We are Christians. But Aaron, even though he gave his life to the Lord when he was 8, wasn’t living a Christian life and wasn’t sure about God. About 6 months before this happened a lady gave him a devotional at a rehab he was at. From that point on I had the relationship with him I had prayed for. He was doing Bible studies at that rehab and then moved to another and he continued. He asked me for money to buy a Bible. I think back now and wonder if I missed the signs that he would pass. The fact that he came back to the Lord with such tenacity might should have told me. But I suppose the Lord closed my eyes to this.
Obviously he fell again to drug use. But, I am sure he’s with the Lord. A year or two before had he died then, he may not have been. So I am grateful for this. I believe I will be with my son, that was a desire of my heart. Praise God! ❤

I only ask God to give me confirmation that yes, Jon is with Him as well. He wasn’t walking with the Lord (as far as we know) before he died, although he had prayed the sinner’s prayer a few years before this. And I know he respected the things of God as well. I just really need to be sure. Please pray for me, and thanks for sharing.🙏✝️

The first book to coin the phrase ‘near death experience’ was Raymond Moody in his book Life after Life’. My sister bought the book, and I read it. I’ve been fascinating ever since.
Thank you your life because you studied life after death experience. There's so much evidence that I do understand this is a tipping point on the favour of heaven. When we go out of our bodies I think we still have our sprit of mind some people can not except thier new position and that's why when we go our mind still wants to talk to the doctor and tell the doctor they are ok. People language have away talk about this subject but most will lol because thier uncomfortable. They believe but they don't want to believe because of our own mind
