When I made the video, the car wasn’t starting but was cranking, in the end I discovered that although it was showing it had 1/4 of fuel, the tank was actually empty 😂, so by chance I decided to add some diesel and it started straight away, I spent hours and days changing and charging the battery, I feel really foolish, but learnt a lesson not to trust fuel gauges. In any case to be fair, this car has covered 200000 miles. I am in the UK too..

@DaringBeefcake I have the same issue with my diesel additive. The guage works but is a couple of thousand miles out. If I remember to top it up, then I'll have no issues. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of nowhere in limp mode. Yes, sometimes it is the simplest of things. I've not worked on a car in about 30 years, so it is always great to see one being repaired. I'm glad you sorted it in the end. Thanks again.
