I bought Dream Witch this week and I’ve never saw a ceiling so high. All the possibilities of her leeches are amazing ! Whenever I play her, my brain turn at 110%
the hunter mains who mains hunters who doesnt have any of these three elements are the scary ones because theyre brilliant enough to win without having to map pressure/chair pressure
Undead is a map pressure hunter, the only reason he's weak is bcuz of him not being able to chair meaning surv will get eliminated slower which gives other surv more time to decode
It kinda cancels itself out Undead has really good map pressure but he has a built-in trait that actively DAMAGES his map pressure Balancing him out to just have average map pressure overall
And this is why I respected Joseph's main like a lot. He has none of the important stuff listed in the video but someone who's good at him and using him in high tier is highly admirable and respectable.

@Vamedy Central Yup, i used to get crushed when using Mad Eyes. Now, i’m proud to say that if i’m using Mad Eyes i have a 70% winrate after practising him for a long time
Because it means more room for error. I'll give two examples, with dream witch she can be "countered"/played against so that if they have questionable leech placement the survivor can force a leech hit, and transition out. If the hunter doesn't have patience they'd use the leech to hit and therefore have potentially less leeches on the board meaning less map pressure (under the assumption that DW leeches the rescuer when they come in first save) Then for polun/wheel, there's so many areas i.e reception church where the controls can be incredibly hard and you get stuck, you can get looped by windows so you have the choice to either mind game or leave for another survivor in a more open area/ easier windows to spike. It's a bit of hunter sense but also character knowledge that you need. For more difficult hunters it involves more thinking, perfect execution and decision making. Just because a character is meta does not mean the people who play her are. Tier lists look at the absolute top with competitive play opposed to the general players ranking in mammoth-unicorn tiers
When I play Wheel my ping usually is a factor when playing him otherwise he doesn’t feel as smooth and can feel janky at times which has caused me to loose many games
Breaking Wheel takes time to master, it's really hard to control them, but you won't regret the choice if you don't give up on them, they're truly strong! (Like all hunters you can get crushed sometimes)
Even tho Luchino is a weak hunter, Having Patroller Trait and Insolence Persona I am having more Wins and Ties than Loses, mostly like 5/2.9 I suck playing him 2 1/2 yrs ago but now I know where or when will the survivors will go
Also I feel like I should mention that we really have to wait a bit to see where she is in the meta since rn people are still getting used to her, both hunter and surv mains Like survs are still getting used to countering her while hunters are getting used to playing her But all the points you made in this vid are spot on
i feel like ann have became a competitive hunter after her new buff if you use your cats to hit a cipher which you were sure there's survivors on it and use the new ability you will literally lock them from decoding for around 20 seconds and rest is gamble if you can get your cat back by the time a survivor comes for rescue
It's 10 seconds, not 20 and that strategy relies on you being in range of a cipher and actually getting the cat on the survivor that's decoding it, if you're far away enough they can easily see it coming and can dodge it - which will also mean that if you're camping and someone is coming to rescue, you might have just wasted your cats Her cipher control is extremely bare bones, Ann definitely has gone more meta but not because of her buff, it's because the other hunters that were more meta than her got nerfed in one way or another
@@madnessbound Well now that i think about it a survivor that have seen it coming will run away from the cipher meaning they wasted time regardless. on top of that if you can pull your cats back one of your cats still has chance to hit the person in cipher (wheneven its unlikely) and one of your cats are guaranteed to come back but you really need some nasa worker type of maths

I think (now im new player into this game so this might not be true) the element off a good hunter in my opinion is good manipulation like to force survivors to play in your way (good examples are guard 26, gamekeeper, hell ember etc.) so if the survivors don't have experience against those hunters you could easily manipulate them for a free down but idk that's just my opinion abt it.
Chase is important but camping not so much. A hunter can win via good anti-rescue or the ability to slow down cipher rush. Whilst it is theoretically possible to have a hunter win via an overwhelming chase we have no hunter that can currently do this. Someone like Geisha when she was first released.
I am not sure about transition kiting being effective strategy against good Naiad - when she throws her harpoon her speed increases significantly and she can intercept survivor during transition. So close kiting deadly and transition - dangerous.
@@madnessbound It's a mix of those factors and some more, but my idea still stays. It's not dangerous if it's just kiting in general. Also I agree with OP, people keep saying just transition kite but transitioning isn't really that safe of a plan considering her increased movement speed and dash (but then again thats your only choice so oh well).
Dream witch is also hard(or harder cause i still cant use her and i can use pollun) like breaking wheel and madeyes btw but she's still competitive Also i dont think undeads problem is map pressure cause he can get quickly around with his dash. Its more of chair guarding imo cause no chair and the one you downed can save himself without any help.
i have very great map pressure as naiad due to my spear. but ofc early game not really.. chasing is a bit dificult since im still learning her and where to put the spear😔 cipher rush is a medium problem but i can circle around cipher at least protecting them for a while! but maybe she will get a nerf or buff so ill see..
Axe boy is one of the best, he can excel at chases and hit or knock down very easy the survs, he can excel at chair guarding, he is not the best in map control but he has a good hitbox and a high moving speed
oh my i noticed the dream witch clip you used is a pc gameplay!! I've been struggling using her ever since i switched to PC this year! When i was in mobile, I could use her just well and get wins & draws but now i cant... do you have any tips for playing dream witch on PC?
There's not really a lot of a difference tbh, just get used to the controls which you probably are already aware of. It could also be because she recently got nerfed or maybe a combination of the nerf and the inexperience with PC.

As a Wu Chang main, that flying guillotine gameplay was painful to watch, they don't understand Fan Wujiu/Black Gaurd's hitbox very well. The soul waver miss was also painful, at that distance it hinders your ability to chase effectively. Also that pallet stun is the reason I carry Excitement despite what anybody else may think. The video is very good as far as I can tell, as I haven't made it all the way through it, but the gameplay of Wu Chang is just too much to watch. Edit: That blink and then the soul waver... Mmmm, no.

I'm a beast with the breaking wheel, truly underrated hunter and yes he is incredible hard to control, sometimes I still can get crushed.

It's ok buddy, if you can master him without having all of that element to be a strong hunter, then you're definitely something else.
