Yamaha YZF R15 v2 Spark Plug Iridium CR9EIX | Cleaning | Adjustment | Fairing Removal DIY

Hi
This one covers covers removal of right side of the fairing for getting access to spark plug. It a good practice to clean spark plug every 3-5000 kms. I changed to NGK Iridium CR9EIX Spark Plug at 31000 kms, now the bike has 51000 kms and still running good. Iridium spark plugs have a longer life span along with good spark.

Hi just wanted to know how are the iridium spark plugs working on R15 V2 . Planning to install on my bike. Is engine over heating ? Any change in performance?

Not much change in performance. But only slight. No overheating. Have been using it for over 20k kms. These have long service intervals and last a lot longer than stock plugs. Cheers :)

If the CR9EIX plug you installed is from yamaha, not at all, if there are any problems, its usually the bike itself

Nope, not at all. Only benefit is that ye lambe chalte hai or gap adjustment bi kaafi lambe period ke baad karo to bi koi dikkat nai.

Iridium plug mein tip iridium ki hori hai copper ki vajae. Toh iridium spark bi thoda strong deta hai, aur maintenance bi kam leta hai aur long life bi.
