Indian Shores Beach Florida 2021: Walking Tour

Take a walk with me on Indian Shores Beach Florida on May 16 2021. Just 8.7 miles south of Clearwater Beach is the much less crowded Indian Shores Beach Florida. I originally tried to get a parking spot at Indian Rocks Beach, but it was too crowded so I headed just about 2.5 miles south to Indian Shores Beach. Indian Shores Beach is a good alternative to more touristy beaches if you want more of the beach to yourself. It was a nice 90 degree (32 C) day at the beach with perfectly warm, clear water.. There are some other small beaches along Gulf Blvd like Redington Beach, Madeira Beach and Indian Rocks among others. If you want to get away from some of the big crowded Florida beaches, head to Indian Shores Beach and then check out some of the cool local seafood restaurants for that small beach town Florida atmosphere.

If only the Gulf had the sunrise, then get there early, park, face the sun over water, and leave before the the temperature gets bad. If only. That's what I loved about South Beach, but the Gulf atmosphere, is so much more laid back.

I do the opposite and come around 4-5 PM and stay until sunset.
