6:48 I was looking everywhere trying to find someone else who measures their thread by “pulls” from the skein, so I could get an idea for how many to use per working thread. This was exactly what I was looking for :)

I also measure my thread by pulls. I use 6 pulls and loop my floss.

Exactly what I needed to make everything in my head come together and click. Thanks!

Kat . Thank you for another informative floss tube. I have one observation with the loop start. Re threads if you lightly press the thread between your fingers, than pull the thread one way, than the other way. There is a smoother grain to one of the directions. I have always thought you use this grain to enter the fabric and get less fraying. With the loop start you cannot use this . I have tried both ways (two threads and loop) .

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. That's a fascinating point about the grain of the thread and I have come across comments before regarding this. It was on my list to test this out so I will definitely get on to that! Have you noticed any difference when you use 2 strands or a loop?

You REALLY like the Loop Start! 😁
How long's a piece of string??
...Twice as long as half its length. 👍
    Thanks for another great video.

      Oh yes...loop start EVERY.SINGLE.TIME 🤣
Good answer to how long's a piece of string; my uncle often says that to me 😂

You lost me when I had to keep looking up the conversion to inches (on my planet!). It would have been more helpful to have included inches in your talk. 😢

Thanks for the feedback but it's not something I'll be including in my videos.
