The climax of Daag, was bone of contention between the two heroines. Both of them wanted to die in the end. So, Yashji filmed death scenes for both of them differently.
To avoid any further controversy, he kept them both alive in the end. This is how the unique end happened out of his मजबूरी 😀. The film viewers may offer their remarks on this.
