This honestly hits so hard..i have a homophobic mom and no dad. Its hard to hide the fact im non-binary and bi. Whenbi got my hair cut i had already comenout to my trans friend so i had some support but it was so hard for me to to get it cut since my family cant efford actual hair cuts meaning i had to go ask my mom to cut it.. it took a while and a lot of explaining but i managed to convince her by saying its a trend and that my hair was getting annoying anyway.. Im glad i made that step, since then i've come out to most y friends and tho i lost some of them becuase of who i am, they were mostly supportive..:) I still havent come out to my mom but its been almost a year now since i discovered myself. I dont have a binder or anything like a binder so i try not looking at my body so that i dont get insecure.. i once asked my mom about myb getting a binder bc i hate my chest but she replied and said "its just a phase" which i know would be her responce to me coming out..Luckily i dont go to school so i dont deal with others but the people around me such as my family still deadname me and disrespect the lgbtq community all the time.. it hurts but im glad that im not the only one going through this.. :)
