Match Day 2023 Recap

Hear just a few of the many stories of our Medical Students who were matched into a residency program this year on Match Day.
Fourth-year students from Saint Louis University’s School of Medicine participated in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). During Match Day, students find out where they will continue the next chapter of their medical careers.
Prior to Match Day, students apply and interview at residency programs in the specialty of their choice and rank their preferences. The residency programs also rank the preferences of students. The rank lists are then matched through NRMP.
In March 2023, the SLU School of Medicine Class of 2023, gathered at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Clayton to find out their match. Students learned of their match upon opening a sealed envelope addressed directly to them.
