- Wiki first rose to fame when he was still a teenager in the NYC hip-hop groups Ratking, and since then he's forged a successful solo career on his own terms. We caught up with the 26-year-old while he planned the rollout for his latest record Oofie. Wiki lifted the lid on his mindset and his 360 degree vision for his LP-from the artwork to the videos to his live shows. Working closely with his manager, who pitched his track “Elixir” in November 2018, the track landed on multiple editorial and algorithmic playlists. Here's how everything unfolded and what happened next.
In ‘How They Made It,’ a new video series from Spotify for Artists, we talk to artists about their hustle, their creative journey, and the knock-on effect utilizing Spotify tools has had on their career. - Hudba

damn i remember dem ratking days ! definitely inspired me in high school check me out Ace Lono Baby
Yeah great and all if they actually take your pitch, most new artists they will not accept, it's a joke, don't get your hopes up or they will crush it, customer service is rude garbage
160 million listeners and my music is captured by the algorithms that generate 10-50 streams/month. Sorry Spotify, but I'm not impressed! /Music artist Arnold Wittman.
Agreed they won't take any of my pitches and I've been playing guitar for 20 years, Stephen Pearcy follows me as well as other real famous musicians, the customer service is also rude, i play all different styles and its crazy you can only pitch one song even if it's a whole album, I won't be making anything off them but my music is still selling, they wouldn't know music if it hit them upside the head
