    I don't know if this has been shared but if you wanted to try you can add a normal yarn together with the yarn to better see the stitches. It also makes a cool effect too. Especially if you add a contrasting color or a multi colored yarn. Just thought I'd share! Love the bunny!

      I did this once and used a thin velvet /chenille yarn as my second yarn and it blended in with the fur completely and made it way easier. Also made it super sturdy and heavy lol. Great for if you’re making a weighted stuffie

      That is a great tip! I tried crocheting with this once and gave up several stitches in. Nope, could not see my stitches and felt blind!! So I will try this tip of another yarn or thread if I ever want to give this a go again.

      @@springcrocus7flower635 it's definitely a game changer! It's fun to try and makes the stitches much more noticeable. I made my brother a fox and his tail was with a fluffy fur so it helped so much with that!

    as someone who works mostly with fuzzy yarn learning to feel the stitches rather than see them is super helpful! i use my left fingers that hold the project to find the spot the hook needs to go into

    So I bought some fuzzy pink yarn quite recently and first time in my life (avoided it like many others here), because it was the absolute ideal choice for my project. I freaked out on the first two - three attempts, frogging every now and then, getting lost between the fuzz... Then something happened and suddenly, without any effort, hook started to instinctively go where it needed to go. This type of yarn really makes itself work after a short time of getting used to it xD
    Bunny is adorable :)

    The bunny looks so cute and soft! I knit and crochet and am working on knitting a super bulky (and fluffy) faux fur throw blanket. Knitting it isn’t too bad, especially on circular needles because all of your stitches are held for you. But it’s too fluffy to count😅

    Usually you can feel the stitches, but more importantly when you've been crocheting for a while you can generally intuitively place your hook into the next stitch even without looking, since it's the same distance in most cases. The fuzz also hides a lot of the mistakes, and if there are any holes it's easy to cover up with a needle and a strand of fuzzy yarn.

    • @Lalacloudstudio
      @Lalacloudstudio  Před 3 měsíci

    When I first started crocheting I accidentally ordered fuzzy yarn instead of the normal plushy type yarn people typically use for amigurumi but I used it anyways because I didn’t want to waste it. It took a few minutes to understand how to work with it since I couldn’t see the holes well and was a beginner but honestly once you get the hang out it, it really is very easy to use!

    I made a ball ish plush yarn... For a gift. I was a total beginner. I just kept poking it cause i can't see it. Huihui. It kept breaking cause i made it too tight😅. I told her it gets dirty easily. She loved it and hid it, to keep it from getting dirty... Its also faulty, so it really needs to be kept 😅

    New challenge for me, too. I want to make a sun pillow with a similar yarn from the dollar tree. I tried crocheting as normal but it was too hard. I may try your "training wheels" on my next attempt. I aslso had this idea to work with it double stranded with a second color for the center of the sun. Which I am *probably* flying too close to the sun with that idea, pun intended.
