Question! Was there a specific reason you didn't upgrade and use Naganata Riders? I haven't really used Yabusame in Treaty but after this game I can see how good they are. I typically use Naganata, were you confident Ashigaru would take take of the skirmishers or was that the goal of the flaming arrows?

I'm excited to see another japan player using the bow archers. with the upgrade cards you have 10 multiplier vs siege and times 3 i believe against hand calvery although their hit points is still kinda low they have a good range 18 i believe. every japan player usually says they are garbage. yes they cost more gold than food but still about 200 resouces for 2pop unit same as nagitas. i do agree though nagitas would of been better probally against skirmisher looked like you still kept spaming ashi who is heavy infantry and skirmishers are their counter. you did have a few yumi in there as well which probally are the best option if your not using nagas against skirmishers. today we play what do you think about the mercenary bow archer? he costs a lot and is 4 pop but has a high hand resist against hand calvery where as the bow archer you were using has ranged resist as well as nagas ranged resist. i have never seen anyone use them in a real game. thanks for sharing your games hope you make more japan treaty games:)

The biggest mistake russian-player made... NEVER PLAY N55... when playing Russian always play no more then N45 , you dont want your opponents to get "cemented" while you dont get much stronger

Then to use the group you just hit 1 or 2 on the keyboard
you bind the barracks building, example click on the stable press ctrl+1 then everytime you press 1 the stable recruiting menu shows up.

it might be that he's using mostly food and gold because they're isn't a lot of wood
the most efficient way to gather wood is shrines so that wouldn't have been a big issue I think
