  • This movie devoted to the Winter Palace, the residence of the Russian emperors, enables you to make a unique journey through time. Computer models present the palace and its surroundings in different historical eras - in the reigns of Nicholas I (mid-19th century) and Nicholas II (late 19th - early 20th century), and in the present day. The panoramas are accompanied by commentaries and supplemented by paintings and graphic art as well as photographs.

I have been twice to Saint-Petersburgh and Moscow, both in the summer first visit was in 2008, second was in 2018, what you must know or remember is that because Saint-Petersburgh is very high global wise, during the summer you have days that the sun NEVER gets out, meaning it is full daylight all day. Vice versa winter-wise, where your days that the sun never rises. It is totally not black it is like an early evening never-ending or late evening never-ending. But getting to experience it is magical. What was also amazing getting to be on boats at 3 AM in full sun similar to the sun getting down, you do see the sun getting down at the horizon, just down but it isn't, then it is slowly getting back up to sorta like early morning but too bright to be early morning. it is a feeling of being in a wonderful city. All the sumptuous palaces shine in full color. I know it is not the only Cites or Countries into this happen, but Saint-Petersburgh, because of its magnificent Palaces and color, does seem magical. Not to mention that the people who live there are very welcoming and friendly toward visitors.

If you look up the palaces of Russia, you will see the largest and finest in the world. That is why Napoleon wanted Russia, it is why the germans wanted it, it is why the vatican wants it for the Roman mary with the whole Fatima charade. These palaces which were built and fixtured with some of the finest craftsmen on earth are to be respected and admired. When we think of Russians, we should not think of communist, that would be a mistake. Russia is more than the communist revolution, it's people are capable and hardworking and talented with a long history full of accomplishments and prestige. We must remember the world and the people of the world before such conspiracies overtook us and our world. It is important that we remember ourselves and not be caught up in modern media driven political attitudes which may be inaccurate.
It is important to understand at this critical juncture in history that there is much to lose if we do not maintain our composure and thoughtfulness of our long shared past. That our world can be returned to a time of peaceful prosperity for all nations and peoples, it is important that we understand how it is that tensions became so real and that real efforts be also made to ease those modern tensions. We must look to the past to remember value in nations and peoples around the world, and we must, we must insure to protect our values of life and properties and not risk that which we hold dear amongst us all.
