I recently went for a walk through the streets of Este, a delightful town at the foot of the southern slopes of the Euganean Hills and one of the walled cities of the Bassa Padovana, about thirty kilometres from Padua.

Bellissimo il Duomo con questo contrasto tra la facciata e l’interno barocco! Sembra un vecchio scrigno con dentro i gioielli 💎

Nel museo ci dono esponati relativi ai Reti , i quali avrebbero fondato Este e dedicato un tempio alla loro dea tutelare Estu , con un altare dedicato alla dea della natura Reitu / Ritu ?
