When you accidentally leave the plug out all you have to do is drive fast and the water will drain back out. You can also remove the plug and hurry up and drive fast if your bilge pump breaks then stop fast and put the plug back in, but don’t drop it! The plug hole from the inside it’s way easier.
You should get a boat license, especially if you’re taking people out for day trips! a few few lessons on control and operation would be a great idea!!!
People in boats, in crowded areas, is usually trouble in the making. The last guy was funny. I’m taking on water!! What do I do? Turn on the bilge pump! A nice bass boat will have one. It’s happened to all of us but do something soon. Another trick is to run the boat up on plane at speed. Water in the bilge will be sucked out.
I never even remove my plug, nothing ever comes out when I do anyways (2001 Grady White). I see lots of people at the ramp pulling their plugs and dropping literally dozens of gallons of water and all I can think is if it's that leaky I wouldn't want to be out on it anyways!

But most people want to try and help… you just gotta show that you’re willing to act in the best interest of your crew/passengers/boat and other boaters.
I can almost forgive the plug, it’s the straps that blow my mind. My trailer is right beside a boat launch, so many people back in without undoing their straps.😂
I grew up on boats, my folks always had a boat and seadoo's and I can honestly tell you that today's boaters take idiocy to a different level. There were always "new to boating" people trying to learn back in our days of boating but the stuff I've seen on youtube these days makes me shake my head
That look on the guy's face when u tell him he's taking on water.
I’ve done it. Lucky I saw how low boat was riding and get it back to the dock
When you accidentally leave the plug out all you have to do is drive fast and the water will drain back out. You can also remove the plug and hurry up and drive fast if your bilge pump breaks then stop fast and put the plug back in, but don’t drop it! The plug hole from the inside it’s way easier.
His look said perhaps, "get the f outta heah", can't you see I'm tryin ta scuttle a boat heah?? The f outta heah, lol
I bet he's got a Marijuana card.
It's OK we'll just listen to Dark Side of the Moon.
🤣😴
If you notice that you forgot your plug, just keep driving till the water goes down😂
That guy was so close to sinking, why was he not reacting.. lol
The last guy needs to start it up fast. It doesn't leak as much at speed. Then get to a beach or something....
Last guy obviously has no idea what he’s doing, standing there like he’s waiting for the guy to tell him what to do.
I once dove in to a northern Maine lake in November with a wrench and the back up plug in my underwear. I have never forgotten the plug since. My passengers were traumatized
The guy just stands there lol
The plug thing is the dumbest thing I truly ever heard!
Aside from flat earthers 😮
Don't you realise that the "flat earth" is the new (old) reality? Just like having a penis or a vagina doesn't mean what gender a person is! 😢
So you think curved water that sticks to a magically spinning ball is a plausible explanation?
Heated by a sun that varies our temperature from freezing to tropical in different regions depending on slight differences in distance, but Mars, jillions of miles away closer isn't too hot for us to consider living there...oh kaaay...😂 🥴
@@dont.ripfuller6587it’s so painful. Mars is FURTHER away. And yes, all that other stuff is easily explainable with a very basic understanding of physics. But let me hear YOU explain your theory of things.
@@dont.ripfuller6587the only thing that keeps me sane around you flat earthers is the knowledge that your cult cannot survive the next 10-20 years. Now that space tourism is a thing, you have precious few years of confused delusion left before the video evidence becomes overwhelming, or a flat earth leader goes up and sees it for himself. That last option will take a while, though, because anyone gullible enough to believe flat earth probably couldn’t save $1000. Maybe Elon or Bezos will just gift a ride to a bunch of you tools to end our frustration.
@@alphazuluz Alright then it's should be way too cold. Tomato tomato.
I don't have any explanations for things, space is stupid. I'm just here to provoke the wannabe scientists.
Wow you're pumping it out with your build pump
Shit like this is why I put in at the most remote and empty boat landing and why I avoid boat traffic whenever possible.
I did forget the plug 1 time. my boat was floating deep like his. I flipped on the bilge pump and headed to a beach and backed in. dropped the motor to support the boat and put the plug in. Just stay cool in crisis and all will work out
Get the boat moving fast enough for plane and the water will go out, may take a bit, then put the plug in . I’m surprised the bilge pump wasn’t working, but if you’re confused on which hole, you might not think about the pump
I’ve forgotten the plug a couple times, luckily I was able to jump in and screw it in. Once was when I was already in the middle of a big lake. Auto bilge and the plug placement is what saved the boat
Camera man : "You got the plug in" ?
Boatman: "uhhhh....🌊blub blub blub" 🌊
That’s not the time to find out where the plug goes but good thing your there like a super hero only if they listen at times lol
If my plug was missing I’d probably be hauling ass back to the ramp
The Scout boat with twin 250 Mercs only cost approx. 100k...the Cap. needs some schooling to stop the dings.
I went fishing with a guy I worked with that just bought a “brand new” boat he and was a “great fisherman” that I worked with. Asked me if I wanted to go fishing after work I said sure I’ll meet you at the ramp, 1st clue he showed up with a 1980 sprint boat (granted it was “new” to him I know) 2nd clue he had 3 rod and reels that’s it. I specifically asked him did you put the plug in, straps off of the boat, build primed and trolling motor plugged in. Yes, yes, yes, yes, so I backed the boat in the water park the truck and trailer and we go fishing……….for about 25 minutes. When a boat starts taking on water you can feel it getting lower in the water. So I asked him “you are sure you put the plug in” he replies “yes I put BOTH of them in”…………:BOTH??? He said yes, “the two plug thingys right by the motor mounts and primer bulb and fuel line” my reply was “get us to the F’ing shore as fast as this piece of shit antique will go”
you're taking on water... well that's a relief, at least I'm not sinking.
