  • Our culture frequently portrays Jesus as a wise teacher and good man, but certainly not divine. The religious leaders of His day, however, attempted to trick, entrap, and ultimately kill Jesus precisely because they knew His divinity posed a threat. In this message, Alistair Begg exhorts us to honor and submit to Christ’s rule as Lord of all creation, letting our obedience to earthly kingdoms flow naturally from a love of God above all.
    Scripture: Luke 20:20
    Preached: December 16, 2001

You make the message so clear. I pray God puts into my heart and mind and soul to be able to clearly speak about the word as Mr. Begg does. Each time I talk to someone I get nervous, because I am afraid of saying the wrong thing, or putting out a twisted message, my mouth just stutters and I get quiet because I don't know what words to use. I freeze up if you will.

Your comment about India is not correct. In India Christians are not facing any partiality. Instead the new citizenship amendment act passed by the government allows the illegal christian immigrants from pakistan and afganistan and Bangladesh came to india due to brutality to them in their countries to become indian citizens. Ofcourse there are one or two incidents of violences happened india and the major reason for that many a times the christian do not follow the command of god to love your neighbour. They limit the neighborhood to brothers and sisters of their churches only and the extra help and advantages christians receive and enjoy from christian community makes their neighbours and relatives non christians angry. Most of the christians are educated and doing well than other communities in India. Even the recent manipur riots were also reported wrongly. It was a fight happened between two tribes, one tribe Kuki was having more christians population than the other and this tribe was enjoying government reservation for jobs and college admission etc, and these facilities were not enjoyed by the other tribe Meiythies. Meiythies approached the court for reservation in jobs and admissions. The court gave an order to consider Meiythies also for the reservation. This provoked Kukies and they started protest. Meiythies retaliated and the riot started and Kukies got affected more in the riot. It was not a riot against Christians though you can blame the government for not effectively involved to curb the violence.
