Welcome to a second part of my video from Puerto Rico where I continue search for a perfect 10 out of 10 beach
Jan has been in this island before and he already know some good spots to visit
The first place we are going to is Zoni Beach. From the first view this beach is looking good but our sad faces telling you that we are not happy. The sea weed amount do not even allow us to go inside the water, beside that I would not like to swim with sea weed around me.
We are quickly making another plan and hoping that next beach will not have that problem.
Im coming back in the video to this beach but first I’m going with Jan to the ferry port to buy his tonight return ticket.
Remember guys from the port? I’ve meet them again at another beach and with my power of persuasion they agreed to stay overnight in Culebra. This means I found company who can share the cost of the water taxi to Culebra.
The cost of the ferry including the car is 22 dollars. The problem is that you can’t buy ticket online and you have to be there in the line. The ferry ride is very rough but that depends on the waves. Today the sea is calm but still some people are not felling well. If you have motion sickness I suggest you to sit outside because fresh air might help you deal with the problem.
Being on the top deck make the journey refreshing and gives you great views for small islands.
My goal is to get to the Culebrita island and it is not easy find somebody with a boat to get me there. I did ask many local people but it is not easy.

Bienvenido a la segunda parte de mi video de Puerto Rico, donde continúo buscando una perfecta 10 de cada 10 playas.
Jan ha estado en esta isla antes y ya conoce algunos buenos lugares para visitar.
El primer lugar al que vamos a ir es Zoni Beach. Desde la primera vista, esta playa se ve bien, pero nuestras caras tristes te dicen que no somos felices. La cantidad de algas marinas ni siquiera nos permite entrar al agua, además de eso, no me gustaría nadar con algas marinas a mi alrededor.
Estamos haciendo otro plan rápidamente y esperamos que la próxima playa no tenga ese problema.
Estoy regresando en el video a esta playa, pero primero voy con Jan al puerto del ferry para comprar su boleto de regreso de esta noche.
¿Recuerdas chicos del puerto? Los he vuelto a encontrar en otra playa y, con mi poder de persuasión, acordaron pasar la noche en Culebra. Esto significa que encontré compañía que puede compartir el costo del taxi acuático a Culebra.
El costo del ferry incluyendo el auto es de 22 dólares. El problema es que no puedes comprar el boleto en línea y debes estar allí en la línea. El viaje en ferry es muy peligroso, pero eso depende de las olas. Hoy el mar está en calma pero todavía algunas personas no se están sintiendo bien. Si tiene mareos por movimiento, le sugiero que se siente afuera porque el aire fresco puede ayudarlo a resolver el problema.
Estar en la cubierta superior hace que el viaje sea refrescante y le brinda excelentes vistas para pequeñas islas.
Mi objetivo es llegar a la isla Culebrita y no es fácil encontrar a alguien con un bote que me lleve allí. Le pregunté a mucha gente local pero no es fácil.

Icacos Island, Palominos Island, Vieques Island, Coffing Island, Guilligan Island, Cardona Cay, Luis Pena Cay, Mona Island, Dirty Beach in Cabo Rojo, Colora Beach in Fajardo (not for swimming but sunbath), Pineros Island, Pena Blanca in Aguadilla...a partial list of good beaches.
Defenetly going to visit those on my next trip

I don't like your whining about the beaches. Flamenco beach is 1 of the best 10 beaches in the world. I used to go there when the island didn't have kioskos and places to rent. To me it was like paradise. Love my island.

Looks like Culebra has developed a lot. There was a time when only Vieques had hotels and Culebra only had camping grounds.
Love to go there. Most public beaches people have super loud annoying boom boxes- not calm or peaceful!
Its true. Maybe for this reason flamenco was not my 10/10. I went to Culebrita, small island with beach 10/10
La isla es muy pequeña los autos contaminan y ocupan demasiado espacio. Es mejor alquilar carritos de Golf. No hay que preocuparse del espacio en estacionamientos 🤔🤗 y puedes ir donde sea con él

I was there in February. Anytime of the year is good. Maybe just hurricane season is dangerous which is September October

Yes, sure. You can do camping, Culebra island will be perfect for that. Outside Flamenco beach there is an admin office where one gentleman is working and he will give you precise info about camping. I talk with him about many topics and he will be helpful. Thanks for good feedback
