The substrate for pedes definitely has to be at least somewhat moist, but I will say that u don’t need super-deep substrate for pedes. U can provide it, but as long as it has something to hide under, such as cork bark, leaves with no pesticides on them (for smaller pedes), the centipede will be just fine. A hiding centipede is a happy centipede :)

I do not understand where everyone gets the bullet ant is the most painful bite/sting in the insect Kingdom when in fact a majority of my sources say a full-grown scolopendra gigantea is by far more painful than any bullet ant. No I am not referencing coyote Peterson. Just would like to get an accurate scale because the Schmidt scale is completely flawed and Justin Schmidt said himself he has never and possibly would ever take a bite from a giant centipede let alone a scolopendra gigantea. Can anyone validate any part of my claim? Which centipede delivers the most painful Venom in your opinion? It would be highly appreciated in the name of science.
I have a polymorha, and it is neat! I love feeding him and he is super docile with me and he is a wild caught individual. I've had him for about two months and I feed it spiders,crickets,roaches and it even ate a small baby gecko once, all that was left was the head and the empty skin. They are neat creatures.

I can tell you from my personal experience, what I do is just make sure one side of the enclosure is moist and the other side not so much. The key here is that it is more important for the bottom of the substrate to be moist more so than the top. As it is in their natural habitat.
My roommate found a (baby?)desert tiger centipede on him fucker was 3in very hefty(he was not pleased as it ran away when he flicked it off of himself) now i have a awesome little pet xD

Once or twice a week 4-8 crickets at a time is what I normally feed. Hope this helps:)
Never touch the terminal legs ⚠️ is the first defense. You immediately stress the animal when you touch there.

Yes. Tarantulas inhabit very small areas in the wild and I have found they thrive best and appear more comfortable when they live in compact spaces.
