He’s speaking for the man he interviewed, his father.
@@r.williamcomm7693 nah, he just thought "I'll get more clicks if people initially think a 19 year old boy could do this, so I'll just go with it, not even bothering what my dad will think."
Exactly why lie about that 🤦♂️🤦♂️
This bike is absolutely gorgeous, I’ve never been a huge fan of the cafe looking bikes but this is done beautifully, props pops
I think what does it for me is the thicker look it has compared to other cafe racer builds.
@@mikevlogs4501 yep, I agree. This is very unique and so nicely done.
I agree i agree
It even has a seat that looks very comfortable which is a grip of mine with nearly every cafe racer. Tyres are great as well. Love it.
I've worked in home healthcare for 20+ years and one of my patients was a Goldwing rider. He was in his mid-80s the last time we rode together (just a few months before he died) and he STILL rode like an absolute hellion! Zipping in and out of traffic with a cigar dangling out of his mouth he scared the bejesus out of me! ;-) RC had been not just a fighter pilot but the original leader of The Thunderbirds aerial acrobatics squadron and one hell of a decent dude. He would have absolutely loved this thing... and terrorized traffic with it! ;-) Cheers.
an air force guy gotta love us airmen
🦅
Talent. Your dad’s styling and nod to a champion racehorse is very classy and appropriate for a café racer. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Kudos to your dad, He did an amazing job. One of the best old-school custom Goldwings I have ever seen!
Far from old school
@@innouniversedoineedthis It’s a four-cylinder Goldwing made into a café style, that is pretty old-school.
Duude, that’s an art piece! I really like his build. Congratulations
Wow! I have never seen such beautiful modification of an old bike ...
The color, the style, the finishing, the parts, all perfection!
Reimagined and a new life to old bikes is a great passion. Too bad there are not more people that can do this. Your dad obviously has skills. Thanks Kase for sharing his talents. :)
Could have done this to a bike that wasnt a well maintained survivor.
@@Full_Otto_Bismarck then we would have had to dump at least $1k more into the engine. He did it right
This is actually an extremely common trend, there are entire shops that strictly turn old/ugly bikes into cool cafe racers. There are some super cool builds on instagram.
Incredible, amazing build. Ultimate bragging rights at the Cafe.
Not even close.
That's important to you clearly .
Please don't breed
@@peterherrington3300 Sorry the truth hurts your feelings. Have a nice day.
@@slamboy66 if you have better or have seen better on YT…put up and show it or lead us to it….but this build here is gonna take some beating….i’ve seen hundreds on YT and in the flesh…but this is thee best yet…IMO
@@russellking9762 Look up the origins of the CAFE Racer. They don't have mag wheels and shaft drive. In high school I had a Yellow CB400 FOUR Super Sport CF.
I roadraced motorcycles in the 70s.. there was a gold wing entered in a five hour endurance race. I think it was a 1975 Goldwing. This was at Summit point Road race track in West Virginia. They have a 3500 foot straight away on the track. If your machine is ever going to reach TopSpeed it is definitely going to reach it there,,
this Goldwing took the lead on the third lap and ran away with that race against Honda CB 750s, Kawasaki Z1900s. RDs, Kawasaki triples of all sizes, a couple Ducati’s, Just to name a few. I remember how silently it breezed down the front straightaway lap after lap.. it won the race overall with ease.. I remember the name of one of the racers, his name was Taylor, I forget his teammates name..
this was back when nobody knew with the gold one was supposed to be, before they invented the interstate with fairing and bags standard. we didn’t know if it was supposed to be a super bike, a sport bike, a standard, what was it?
A friend of mine bought a 1975 Honda Gold wing. I had a 1977 Honda CB 750 F and I bought new. we ran them off on the interstate several times, and that gold wing just pulled away from my CB 750..
it was not a slouch back in the day.
That fabwork is flawless, this bike is awesome
Your Dad must be a legend because this bike is the most amazing piece of work I have seen yet.
Honda the corporation should hire your dad to work for them! This is a nice piece of machines married together. The look is fantastic. Kudos! Ride Fast!
Pretty badass Wing, really clean build. Building up that rear-end and getting it to work properly is pretty impressive. Having the open timing belt cover is cool.
I was hoping he would talk about that; I would like to know how he keeps debris and, grit out of there.
That is the best looking bike I’ve ever seen. And for me, that includes all the futuristic prototypes that are out there. This is the pinnacle for me. Thanks for sharing with us all of your hard work and skill.
The work around the rear of the frame and the swingarm is amazing, the underseat shocks are really clean.
Holy crap, your dad has some serious fabrication skills. My best friend owned a gl1100 for himself and restored 70s hondas for a sideline and if he was still alive he would have LOVED this video and what your dad did.
What a cool freakin bike. I love that he used a Goldwing, such understated brute force to move a cafe racer. That motor barely has to even try to get that thing to MOVE. I hate screamer engines in my middle age. A bike needs to add to the tranquility of a ride, not ruin it like sound of a blender going off when your sleeping in a hammock. Your dad has style, love the build.
People shit on the goldwing as a rich man's bike or a old man's bike.
Then there is yellow wolf. I don't know if he is still at deals gap. But that man would kick the dick off super bikes with his goldwing running that loop. As far as I know he still has the record for the most loops in a day and nobody's come close.
Your dad is a friggin legend, that thing is savage, fair play to him. All the best from Ireland.
Stunning, absolutely STUNNING! beautiful build, well done. Thank you for sharing.
Nice job! ( bit of an understatement, I think )
One of the best looking 'Goldwing's" that I've seen. Must have been a lot of fun to build this up.
Thanks for showing this TFLbike / Kase.
It takes an amazing man to build such an amazing motorcycle, your dad is a genius 👍
Just happened to run across your video this morning and I am floored. I've always like the Honda Goldwing and finding myself a fan of the Cafe style bikes. Your dad did some great work and I would definitely like to learn from him seeing that we both are in GA.
So pleased I found this video. This is outstanding! So many stylish inventions. This is a build to be very proud of. I just love the idea of old bike/new bike. Well done. I wish you many wonderful ride outs together.
Its cool to see these last couple of videos from you. Really shows where you got your roots from. I miss my Dad.
Apart from a really appealing bike project I'd like to point out that I do very much like how respectfully you both interact with each other.
That isn't a given anymore in our day and age.
Safe rides 👍🏍🙏
And God bless
As a parent, that struck me too. So impressed with the young man.
They act like they don’t know each other, very distant and creepy IMO. I’m very close to my dad and couldn’t make a vid feel that weird if I tried to.
@@_..-.._..-.._ absolutely agree, it felt more like a job interview than a dad showing his bike to his son, really creeped me out
It looks more like a Bobber than a cafe racer. Such a top job by your dad, it looks awesome.
Sounds good? SOUNDS GREAT!!! and man, to have a dad that can create that thing would be super cool! You are a lucky dude!
What a special, custom build! One of the best I have seen :o !
Beautiful bike! Great job of redesigning a Gold Wing into a really cool bike. More people need to see this exceptional creation!
Your dad’s build is very well imagined and executed. Lot of fabrication skill and planning too. Impressive.
what a dad you have, pretty wild and still pretty humble.
The bike is awsome
Custom bikes with custom fab work just never get old. I’m loving it. I really like the blue. Probably on of the best sounding old GL’s on the road..
Fist bump your Dad for us, great looking bike. Nice work.
"Start buildind Gold Wing Cafe' racers!"" That a cool bike!"
I’m going to. I’m also available for commission
I watch this video whenever youtube recommends it, this was my third time. This bike is a work of art!
Wow!!! What a creation! Im sure everyone would love to see more builds from you guys. I know I would. How inspirational. Thank you for the video.
Wow! That’s so next level. Love it. Great father-son combo.
Beautiful build. I love the shaft drive, as it's so quiet.
WOW! This is one of the most spectacular Cafe racer bike builds l have ever seen. The white lettering on the tires gave it the finishing touch.
Nice build! The two shocks at the rear look amazing.
Probably the best I’ve seen. That looks amazing
My new favorite cafe racer of all time!!! Congratulations on a brilliant and important build.
Very well done! It looks beautiful and what a great old platform looking so modern and gorgeous.
This is literally a dream build, i love everything about it, looks awesome! Good work pops
Great tribute to an amazing horse. Very nice bike, love it...
Great looking build. I know I bought one long ago to do a similar, but it was stolen. Never did get another. Nice to see a good one doing that idea justice. Nice interview and review
Always appreciate a person who can modify and fabricate parts to meet a certain goal.....cheers!
This bike looks and sounds wicked! Definitely a sweet build I enjoyed the relationship/ luv for the bike or bikes in general. Cool vid, well enjoyed.👍
I wish you would of talked about those cylinder fans, really cool look.
They are cam sprockets. This bike has two timing belts, one for each bank. All he did was cut a hole in the timing covers to expose the sprockets.
It is a nice touch. Cool look.
@@atsernov thank you, I couldn’t wait to tell him lol.
Makes me think about doing it to my Honda Valkyrie need cool looking sprockets though. The stock ones look boring
Beautiful job! Great father-son relationship.!
Top notch build you did there and a great presentation from the chip off the old block. All the best to you and yours👍🏼👍🏼
Well thought out and the engineering created a beautiful functional rider. Great job Dad! 👍
I have been wanting to do something similar to this for years with a newer 6 cylinder Goldwing and this makes me believe it will work and incredibly well.
please show us
"Been meaning to"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Course you have mate
Unbelievable! Your dad did a kick ass job on that Goldwing.
Wow, this guy really knows what he is doing., So cool to custom your own bike or anything else custom. And after he finished the whole custom bike, it works and looks like a charm. That's a plus.👌
dope bike, and very nice to see you and your father chilling around a bike he built himself, probably with your help! Cheers from Brazil!
Beautiful bike, your dad is definitely a craftsman, well done
10/10! What a masterpiece!
Youre pop is an OG. Dude is super chill, builds and fabricates his own Frankenstein bike and judging by that neighborhood hes clearly a very successful man with good taste.
The best GL I have seen!!! Absolutely genious. Congratulations.
Koni from Siwtzerland
One of the coolest builds I have seen in a LONG time.
AWESOME!
Why is he and his family so cool 🤣. Very nice bike. Love the videos keep them coming.
Very nice job. So clean and simple unlike many customs that look chaotic. 😂
Amazing job and beautiful sound !
The title should say "I interview my dad about the bike he built"...
Foreal he tried to take all his daddies credit
please lets make this the top comment. i came here to say that others may think you ruined a goldwing. your comment is better and deserves top spot
So absolutely sick and tired of the Cafe Racer craze. This however is the exception.
Great job, really impressive styling. While many and most tend to ruin a bikes image and style with the yet another cafe racer quest and pseudo-craftsman skills, Dad, however, made something (much) better than it was.
Man give some cred to that old man. He deserves it. And when you say that your dad built this... Trust me more people are gonna watch it.
And to the old man who built this... Mad Respect for you sir....1000%🙏🏼❤🔥
So much of the same old stuff out there, this machine blows the lid off ! I love it . You did a fantastic job on this bike . I always wanted to do a GL so bad but dude you raised the bar pretty high on this project . Bro you nailed it ! J-D
The most abused term in custom motorcycle building is "cafe racer" this looks more like a street fighter build to my eyes. The best custom goldwing build I've seen without a doubt.
This has body lines of a Bonneville/Norton which makes it more Cafe. A streetfighter in my eyes is a sportbike without fairings Mt09 kind of style..Just my opinion either way this is badass
Dude went pretty far with the customization, but 70/80's Goldwings have a lot of great parts you can keep. The engine and drive train are flawless.
Wow. That is one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen. Amazing!! You're dad is a genius.
Your Dad did a fantastic job! I like it !
It looks way better than most of those Goldwing convertions I've see.
Pretty sad that he started with one of the rare '84 Roadsters [estimates are somewhere south of 5000 total produced for that single year variant.] Of course, if he'd started with one of the full dress models [Interstate or Aspencade] he'd have had to do more fabrication to replace the headlight nacelle, etc. that are all bits built into the fairing Honda evolved out of the aftermarket Windjammer fairing that they'd had to offer for the 1000 and 1100 models as a dealer-mod. Anyone watching this who loves the old F4 'wings needs to go to Randakk's site for all your classic 'wing modding needs!

Honestly ive always thought those goldwings had potential and mod props to your dad for using newer cbr parts. handling must be pretty good. Curious to know the final weight of the bike.
Course you did .
Built many have you ?
I need to weigh her, shaved about 150lbs off but that was for aesthetics which helps performance and she sits lower. Cornering is limited by steering angle and motor clearance.
Nice bike and love the creativity to make this a one of a kind👍❤️
Pretty snazzy! In fact, probably the coolest custom Goldwing I've seen.
This might be the coolest bike I have ever seen in my life
Sweet bike! Nice build!
Love my H-D XR1200 Stage 3 with full racing suspension and brakes!
Thumbs up man! You guys rock! Glad to see that father son bond!
Incredible build. Sent this video off to my father, we ride together. Wanted to show off this bike. Truely impressive!
What a fantastic job done to that Goldwing! Well done!
great builds , clean mods absolutely beautiful
Looks and sounds awesome ! Great job
Really nice, great video. Thumbs up
This is one of my favorite custom builds ever, I've never liked goldwings but this one is absolutely awesome!
Congratulations to Pops! Tons of talent.
Fantastic build! I plan to do a goldwing someday .this is definitely fine motivation
Really nice build. That exhaust note is definitely my favourite part.
That was totally cool, love the ingenuity! Only thing missing was a Supercharger kit for Goldwings that I remember seeing ads for way back in the day, lol.
That’s pretty sick, I appreciate the work he put in
Wauu....just wauuu. Im on the market for GL1100 as well. I have found a lot of inspiration in your video for my winter project. Thanks for sharing 👍
😍It's beautiful! Awesome job!
This is insane!! *I love it!!*
Beautiful job , great job 👏
Those early Goldwing engines are gorgeous.
That’s the single reason I picked this bike. It’s all about the engine.
That's sweet. I like that the bars aren't flipped upside down and in a normal position that you can actually ride for more than an hour.
I love the bike and the way you and your father talk to each other, like true brothers.
I really like it . Real nice job , and those engines are great . Well done !
Utterly stunning build! Such attention to detail 👌
Amazing bike. That flat 4 almost sounds like a subaru. What a work of art
Def sounds great. The 6cyls sound even better! Valkyrie with straight pipes sounds like a race car !
