On Todays Episode, we have everyone's favorite Angel Horror commander Atraxa back.
Mike and this deck have been on a tear lately.

Cool Feldon deck. It was strange that Deven kept paying for rhystic study during that sequence when he was just going to wheel of fortune anyway. Great game tho!

I remember seeing this game live. This game was an exhausting roller coaster of emotions. Remember In Response Family, no matter what, Chau and Mike fall first.

I pulled a ton of them when they first came out and just buried them in my binder. I didnt play a ton of red but now that I do, I play this in everything with red. Thanks for the sub!

a card you could add to help spice up going off from underworld breach would be just a humble grapeshot! easy way to pelt down life totals, and fits comfortably into the mono red shell! C:

Tbh I didn't think about the interaction between sylvan library and the anvil. He would have to pay 4 life for the anvil card because he draws it before the library trigger. But the anvil mostly got ignored this game anyway. Lol.

This is incorrect. Sylvan Library only cares that you pick two cards you've drawn this turn, and either pay 4 life for each of them, or put them back on top. If you draw 6 cards during your draw step with Library out, you don't lose any life when you put 2 cards back. Library does not care how many total cards you've drawn and kept.

Yeah I forgot library specifies only 2 cards need to put back not "pay 4 for each beyond the first".
The weird interaction is still that the anvil cards need to be kept separate with the sylvan library cards.
Yeah the old printings of the card messed me up, cause it states "for each card drawn this turn past the first pay 4 life or put it back on top of library"

I have played magic for almost seven years, but I still dont understand why people run fetches in a mono colored deck in commander, is it just a cEDH thing meant to thin the deck of lands?
Hey Graham, thanks for checking out the video. To answer your question its mostly to thin out decks but there are Utility lands like Mistveil Plains, for example, that can be searched for in Mono White. In Devon's case, it helps feed his Underworld Breach as exile fodder
feldon is a boss. people always "he is cedh" .. my deck is basically tolarian community colleges feldon list, but optimized with a bunch more eldrazi with annihilator
I just want to know why Deven did not win on turn 4. Wheel of Fortune, Underworld Breach and Jeska's Will goes infinite
He literally stumbled onto the combo that night. He hadn't purposely put it in the deck as a win con. So rather than take up any more of our time wheeling and wheeling in order to find a winning line, he was a good guy about it and let us continue playing. He probably regretted that decision after the game lol

Atraxa is so lame and boring. Doing nothing all game, then popping Eerie and winning is just stupid. Not sure why this deck is still featured in videos.
A LOT of people own Atraxa Decks and enjoy watching gameplay of it in action. Actually it is still the most popular commander on EDH Rec. So I get it. It's not your thing. I hate losing to the deck myself, but we got tons of other videos that don't feature Atraxa. Maybe watch some of those instead. Thanks for checking out the channel Aric.
