An ancient city located at the convergence of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers. "Light of the Ancients" illuminates the beauty of confluence in music and culture. Inspired by the wonderful stage design of "Ryo-An" (Ryo Sai), this work explores the primitive sounds of harp and percussion.

「ラガッシュ 」クリストファー・ハーディ
チグリスとユーフラテス川流域にかつて存在した古代都市ラガッシュへ思いを寄せて書いた。アラブ音楽の要素を取り入れている。
「古代の光」は遥かむかしの「いつか・どこか」と今をつなぐ。打楽器とハープの根源的な音を探求する中、東京文化会館公演において舞台装飾を制作した芸術家•亮陰の作品
「古代の光」にもインスパイアされ作った。
