Most likely. As your hair grows, gravity will often pull and stretch your curls, making them appear looser over time. When your hair is shorter, your curls spring up and shrink more.
@@curlelia Retaining length means you’re not breaking your hair off at the same rate it grows out. Therefore you actually see your hair ‘retaining length’ by getting longer and longer over time. And it’s not my definition. It was introduced years ago when the natural hair movement first started.
