  • In this video, I show you what warning signs and red flags to look for when you're looking at a used RV or travel trailer.
    #1 The flooring should be seamless from front to rear.
    #2 The manufacturers do not install flooring thresholds, (floor should be seamless)
    #3 You will not find residential-style quarter-round trim in a travel trailer.
    #4 Probably the most obvious! The flooring design should match.

    How about the fact that the manufacturers build crappy floors and they sag after time and loose there strength. Especially the floors that were made with 2 inch styrofoam laminated to aluminum cross bars ghat are just tack welded and not fully welded. I searched for 6 months looking and seeing construction before I finally bought a 2007 used Springdale by keystone.
