Are the comparable trotters watches just serviced by Rolex before the sale (a 1000 pound value)? CPO Rolex have a 24 month official Rolex entire watch (movement, case, bracelet, etc) guarantee, does Trotters offer an official Rolex guarantee? Rolex replaces worn bracelets, crowns, pushers, dial, hands, movement parts, etc if needed on certified pre-owned. Does trotter’s replace for instance a worn bracelet (a 2000-3000 pound value) as Rolex does when needed? Peace of mind and 2 year Rolex manufacturers warranty is a very attractive proposition that shouldn’t be overlooked. It’s always important to compare apples to apples. Don’t you think?
Plus the CPO watches are only opened up (and put back together properly) by a certified watchmaker, not a salesperson.
£4g extra for a DJ, 😂😂😂
@@ianbrown5924yes and a Certified “Rolex” Watchmaker.
The ‘warranty’ offered by Trotters is worthless
Given how tight Rolex's manufacturing tolerances are, what percentage of Rolex watches encounter mechanical issues within the first five years of ownership? Even stretch that to seven or eight years? A very, very small percentage, less than 2%. That's not worth paying a $3,000+ premium for a CPO in my opinion.
The scratching the nose in the last clip trying to conceal the mic is sending me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol never trust anyone covered in LV logos, likely all fake
Like the Daytona.
Yes CPO cost more, but it’s guaranteed that you won’t get a Franken watch. In the long run this is definitely a grey market killer. It’s perfect time to work on your reputation and get ready for the future. Good luck guys! 🤙
That dude gave absolutely zero credibility in that Daytona story.
_You are probably right, but you probably need to it watch it again another day_ 🗿
So where did the ginger arthur Daly learn his craft?
But what your not explaining about the CPO program is that they likely offer more than most grey market dealers to watch sellers and you likely get to build a rapport with the AD to get the watch you want.
of course they aren't mentioning that part lol
Anyone who has sent a watch to Rolex for service knows that the entire movement is overhauled and service parts replaced by default. Furthermore, if the watch is an older model Rolex will provide suggestions to replace bracelets, dials, hands, dials/face if they don’t meet their strict standards. Some owners decline these extra items and only get the service. However, what isn’t being understood by many is that certified preowned Rolex are prepared by Rolex themselves, so the service aforementioned items are “automatically accepted” and switched out. For example, no certified preowned Rolex would have a worn bracelet (do you know how much an OEM bracelet costs?) since it would be replaced as part of the program. Same with other parts. This is a significant cost savings
exactly, there is a good piece tonight on TIM Wright channel tonight. Yes it is a touch pricey, but they pay more for your watch, and you will be bumped up on the new AD List . Take a look at the video, it is very informative@@DelusionalNYC
You get spend history and other perks at different brands the AD stocks. If you do it at harrods you get harrods points and then get 10-15% off any spend on a day you select across the whole department store. Park a car for a free etc.
I can see what your'e saying but ADs and CPO only for me. Also, if you buy CPO goes against your name as credit for a watch you want and you build a spend history. CPO working well! Well done Rolex.
All your looking for is a mug to pay your price without any comebacks as you always bail on warranty’s
“Overpriced overpriced overpriced”…1). How can the manufacturer of a product overprice it 😂😂? It’s their product. 2). We are under one year of the CPO program and I’m sure Rolex is evolving the product line/ CPO program based on sales and market conductions across the world not just in one store location, they have all the data to suggest what prices should be and I’m sure they will offer you more for your watch than a grey market dealer when you want to trade. 3). Common guys, let’s be real the CPO program offers much more than you guys can. It’s ROLEX, you are buying from the manufacturer! They warranty against all aftermarket bezels, pushers, bracelets and all the other aftermarket crap we’ve seen on all these “grey market” videos on CZcams. The grey market has a damaged reputation right now and not saying you guys are to blame but it is what it is. I’m sure the CPO buyers would rather the peace of mind knowing they have an authentic product from the manufacture that is not stolen, and has all Rolex parts etc.
Also. Purchasing from Rolex CPO would give you purchase history with AD’s. Can you offer that? Buying from the grey market just gets you a pat on the back and baseball cap. 🤷🏾♂️
Agree 100%
how does buying from CPO get you a history with the dealer thought it was mostly online
By opening the back, you have now void the manufacture warranty?
great editing in the first segment
Shertified !!!
Can you guarantee the insides of a Rolex you sell has the original insides it left the factory in??
Or if someone was to buy one would they have to send it to Rolex too verify that?
Just as for insurance purposes imagine the watch being stolen and then found but it wasn’t original inside it gets returned back to the person who stole it
Great vid lads 👍🏻💪🏻keep it up! Trotters is the place to go!
Thankyou for tuning in and positive comment ❤
Yeah, grey market watches do come with risks. Less so with full sticker complete set Rolexes the are unworn that have a full manufacturer warranty. I wouldn’t buy any watch from the grey that isn’t new, unworn, full set and I mean the whole enchilada. These guys are not certified in anything but slangin watches. Too many tricks in the game. The polishing, aftermarket parts, Frankenstein watches, etc. This is why it’s not worth paying more than retail for a used watch in the grey market. You really have no idea what the watch has been through and you’re putting thousands of dollars of trust into people who let’s be honest here are a step above being a stranger.
Good. Video guys. ❤ very good
Did he pay in import duty on that Taiwan brought watch?
Enjoyable video, you should have a gold Sub in stock really
Blue one.
And weres Rio
they're just not a good seller for us, haven't been for a while. we'd never rule out stocking one but for now its not a great seller
Rolex’s QC is DEFINITELY not 10/10
Automatic not a quartz 😂😂😂😂
Look fair play on ur prices vs the authorised Rolex pre owned however u have to realise the premium is justified when u know u are buying from Rolex officially.
Superclones are amazing these days
Selling loads and loads 😂
THAT GUY IN YOUR SHOP LOOKS LIKE RYLAN CLARKE OFF THE TV !
😂Bunch of spivs 🤣🤣
The biggest question! How much is the overhead of Rolex vs Trotter’s?
It was Selfridges.
That dude 💯 knew that was a fake. Good strategy though. Bring one genuine one with the fake to sell. Maybe drops people’s guard a bit. Some poor buggers gonna buy that though.
Buy the dealer not the watch.
Betting a tenner Leon Edwards will treat himself
One day when I get some money and when I buy my first watch it’s gonna be from her I can tell the way these guy treat u is good
I can see that your content quality is improving. Keep it going.
I appreciate that! Thankyou ❤️
Where are your Rolex glove?
The guy @5:10 sounds like he is trying to sale fakes. How do you have a new Daytona without the card. Especially while you’re trying to sale it. “I have the card, but it’s somewhere else.”
That guy was trying to get over on you for sure.
Trotters independent must be crapping themselves with the pre owned programme all fully serviced and verified by Rolex themselves I would always go the the authorised dealer the value and security they offer sorry Trotters those are my thoughts.
no offence taken, but we're not crapping ourselves at all. as you said, you'd always stick with an AD - the grey market isn't losing customers, AD customers are just now buying preowned as well
I bought it in Taiwan,,,,, bye
I bet you get a lot of people trying to get rid of fakes
Strange reply from trotters i think you missed his point. @@TrottersJewellersTV
Yea, I'm sure what he was trying to convey was that since superclones are so good, and you guys have a huge presence in the watch community I'm sure prople try to pass them off as authentic and sell them to grey dealers hoping to make a profit and offload a superclone or stolen watch. Since...you know...watch crime is such a huge deal in the UK accoring to BBC and Paul Thorpe.
@@TrottersJewellersTV I'm not jealous, I like Trotters!
@@TrottersJewellersTV if you read his comment properly, he is saying i bet you get loads of people walking in trying to sell you fakes. Not sure how you interpreted that but he said nothing wrong.
