  • Turning 35 ended up being quite different from what I pictured in my 20s. Reflecting, I realise there's so much I didn't know back then. Yet, that's the beauty of life - it's full of unexpected twists. Today, I'm happy to share the surprising lessons I've learned and am truly thankful for the wisdom they've brought me.

I'm in my early twenties and I feel like I'm in a constant crisis. Hearing this video gives me hope.😄🌞🙏🏻

Your message made me smile straight away 🥲😊😍
I remember the 20s and this feeling so vividly! It's normal to have doubts, questions about future, uncertainty. But for any doubt that you have - pair it with the following thought: all my choices are valid so whatever I decide to do, it will be the right choice; because mistakes didn't exist, only self improvement.

I love the graph at 7:45 - it's a representation of the ebbs and flows of life and allows you to see that the things you experience in life are for a "period" and not permanent. Somehow, it made me think "it's so much easier to to stay present and experience life for what it is, instead of trying to escape or control the events we all experience."

Hello @glimpsesofjoy (your name speaks truthfully - your words gave me indeed, a glimpse of joy reading you ☺️)!
Exactly this is the point - let go of the "noise" of all the thoughts, remain present and experience the event. Happy or sad this event is.

What you said about having a good experience and your mother is one of the most beautiful things I’ve heard in a long time ❤

And for enlarging my vocabulary - "succinct" is now part of it 😅❤️

Thank you for these thoughtful insights!
It seems as if you are happily settled in the current phase of your life without loosing drive towards what's coming next. I really admire that as I find it difficult to see and treat this phase as an independent phase and not live it as an extension of my 20s. Will take some inspiration out of this video for sure!

Thank you @sehpianonah for your nice comment!
I think every life phase is a build-up for the next one. For me 29 and 31 felt the same. What actually changed is the experience, the things you lived. I've heard the following phrase recently: sometimes in decades nothing happens and then in a week a decade happens.
I'm sure you will find your way navigating!
