    Hello. I personally own the YAMATO, the BISMARCK and the MISSOURI from Graupner (unfortunately the German manufacturer no longer exists) in 1/150. Yes, the scale and details are impressive. I think that Bancroft's ships are from the same Chinese manufacturer. I also bought the onboard aircraft (F1M1 Pete, Kingfisher and the Arado) from FToys, as the original aircraft looked pretty bad.
    I hope you and your family have a lot of fun with this monster.

    1/48 would be better. You'd need a trailer but....how cool!

    Hello again. Great model. Please do a sailing video on your great pond as you have for the Titanic. Actually be good to see both battleships the 200 scale and this 150 scale. Then I can decide which one I like best. Please show them at full throttle as well as cruising.
    Thanks heaps in advance.

    Great model! I got the 1:200 version, but I consider to buy this 1:150 too for the sailing in the water. The 1:200 is to small for outdoor sailing. Thanx to Motion RC for this model and thank you for review! Enjoy the beauty! :)

      Thanks, I find early morning times are the best for sailing the 1/200s.

    Just got mine and realized that the bow (very top where the pole is) just below that is a medium size crack. Working with motion rc to see what they will do about it. The rest of the ship is beautiful in its own way.

    • @SSNFastAttack
      @SSNFastAttack  Před rokem

      That is unfortunate. They'll take care of you and send another. FYI, I did priority shipping.

      @@SSNFastAttack not quite sure if they will because it doesn’t effect the “seaworthiness” of the ship but I’m sure if I run it in water the crack will get bigger. According to their “warranty” if it’s a hairline crack in the fiber glass they will not care. If that happens hopefully I can try to find another alternative to fix it

      On second observation, there is a slight mis alignment, but it depends what you are looking at. Specifically, the AA platform has a slightly higher side on Starboard, giving a perception of a port twist, so you could file it down a bit, but the hull to superstructure looks fine. Also, I don't intend to stare at her dead center on, remember these are models assembled across several elements and they are not a ship builder's edition. Those cost millions.. cheers

    • @davidtorre7370
      @davidtorre7370 Před 8 měsíci

      @@SSNFastAttack It is a popular scale for figures, aircraft, and military vehicles.
      If you ever placed her in a diorama setting, you would be all set.
      The difference may be so small between 1/150 and 1/144 that it may not be noticeable.

      @@SSNFastAttack I saw on eBay that someone did the surrender on a 1/350 Missouri model. They want almost $6000 for everything.
      I'm glad your model made it in one piece; violent handling has become the norm in the shipping industry.
      My favorite is a 1942 Yamato; sinister looking. The Scharnhorst had the most illustrious career of any WWII capital ship, imo.

      @@SSNFastAttack don't worry once you start running it you will find out. good luck getting replacement parts. the stock electronics are cheap and will go out. every time motion sent me a replacement part for mine it was the wrong thing are I had to wait months for the part to arrive from overseas. I got tired of throwing parts at it and ended up taking all the stock junk out and replaced with aftermarket parts. now it's actually enjoyable. they look awesome thou and the size are impressive just don't be surprised after you run it a few times it just stops lol.

      @SSNFastAttack no sir had a buddy of mine who is a whiz kid with electric cars and brushless systems take a look at it . I ordered a flysky radio and the parts he needed. Left it with him for a few days and he converted it. Only thing stock is the motors everything else was replaced.
