Your enthusiasm for FPV is so cool....I have really enjoyed all your vids...Have an awesome 2019. One trick I have been doing on my rc cars...Rip open an old computer cord. There is usually a bundle of wires in there that are wrapped in this special tin foil wrap....It cuts down on the emf. I use that to wrap around my receiver...It makes a huge difference. Might be something to try...Peace out.
Rocking those 2400kv T-Motor F40 Pro III’s on my latest freestyle build, it’s also my first build on FlightOne using their Revolt OSD board and the Spedix GS35 4in1 and I’m really liking it so far.
noise... an other good reason to shy away from 4-1esc. Gain space for your rx and vtx as well! Waiting for my Frsky Fireworks to arrive going slim esc route I guess now. grtz! Erik
Great video. I agree with the flight on bolts not as good as they say. I love the Kiss stuff but the 4 in 1 is pretty large. I rock a crossfire and use the mode 2 ghost because they local to me.
Wow, I personally don’t know anyone that wants to solder all those leads to the FC, when a simple ribbon cable does it all. Ribbon cable, not a pinned connection, not a fan of that! Loctite, never use it either, my motor screws don’t come loose, and I check! BTW, nice looking quad on the table, looking forward to seeing flight! Almost forgot, speaking of soldering, one of THE most important things to successful solder joints, that wasn’t mentioned, is flux. A flux pen will make your solder joints all that much better. If you’ve been soldering for 10 years, well you may not need it, even then, professional solderers use flux!
I never use loctite, I just dab some conformal or liquid tape on the screw joints after they are in and it does the job great and I don't need to remember before I put them in. Another thing I do is treat my electronics with e6000 glue. Usb ports, connectors, any large components, anything fragile or anything proud. It's waterproof, easy to apply without getting where you don't want it and doesn't leave a sticky residue when dry. It protects them from battery straps and breaking off from excessive force.
Devin C No man I still fly. I’m not sure about Astro. We stopped posting because life started getting serious for him. He’s much younger then I am. And after graduating college he went head first into working and dating. I’ve been in my career for a while so I know how to balance things. He basically gave it up because of the other things in his life taking over. Thanks for asking man.
Great video.. Took a stab at finding all the gear.. I suspect its a T-Motor F55A ESC with F60 2450kv Motors on an Avant Ultra 5 Frame.... I suspect the receiver is an R-XSR, Camera is a RunCam Micro Swift 2? with a 1/3 2.1mm lense? The VTX however has foiled me... I use cheap Eachine VTX's and I could not find anything on google that looked like this one.. That little bump on the side throws me off. :) .. Happy Flying!
Send I hope you see this but man I've had several tbs unify race hv and the unify hv 800mw and they died ,well I'm on budget and I wanna get ur opinion what should I get? I ordered rdq mach 3 and hope I can get a new build going because my tbs unify race hv I can't fly due to horrible video and blackouts and white flicker on 200mw I get maybe 250ft if lucky in open field. What should I do?

Im new not to new but never build but enjoy your channel thinking of building my first so I'll be watching more

I think the flux capacitor is also very important. ;) If you don't use loctite, you may just end up in the wrong time period.. You never know! ^^

Sorry, me again! You might consider mounting that receiver, and VTX vertically to a rear standoff, via a 3d printed holder!

Danger Davefpv get another Unify. It’s really the best out there. How you install it is very important. Send me a pic on my channel
Danger Davefpv make sure your not in pit mode. Make sure your pig tail is good and connected properly. And make sure it gets lots of air
