If the gameplay clips look slow it’s because they are. Had trouble for some reason with the speed of clips being too fast after rendering so I tried slowing them down. Hope it looks alright

Ps5 can definitely run this game at 120 fps they’re just lazy and focus on things for the game that don’t matter all we want is 120 fps
I recently got a 120 hz monitor and was excited to play games on a higher frame rate and I didn’t even know that apex didn’t have the 120 hz support yet meanwhile a game like XDefiant which didn’t even come out as a full game yet already had the support meanwhile ps5 has been out for 3 years and apex still didn’t have it is baffling…seems like EA truly doesn’t care about it’s customers
I feel that. I don’t know if they just don’t care about us or they just are super bad about updating us on what’s going on. Either way not good.

Reached out to my cousin who works at EA and his response was this “I think the team is still testing the functionality they released a patch in Feb for it but caused too many issues so they rolled back the code”
So he’s confirming that they’re at least working on it
Yeah that’s what i took from it. He doesn’t have much info cause he doesn’t work in that dept but that’s what he could give me. But having made the announcement for 120 so long ago and the fact that other games have it already you would think EA would hurry up lmfao

I stopped playing in season 10 and I said I’ll play again when they add 120 but 7 seasons later and there’s been no word on if or when it’s coming. I lost hope this season for Apex specially with the new ranked season, it’s just sad that a game I used to play so much hasn’t gotten any improvements since I last played.

Literally wanted to full switch to apex a year ago and I said I would when 120 fps came out. Checked monthly for a while but eventually just forgot and didn’t care anymore, I was actually decent and my movement and aim was good but I knew I would never have fun on 60fps as it looks so terrible 😂 sucks it’s looking like it will never come out :/

I heard that they will change the apex engine, maybe when they do that, newgen consoles get able to running 120fps on apex legends.

I would come back if it was on 120fps and even it's doable on xbox series s. It's not like s serhas a large drop in specs it's a ram issue more then anything I believe but recommend hardware it's fine. IMO

I just started playing Apex today and I have a 1440p monitor for my Ps5 and I was confused as to why it was locked at 60 fps. Now that I know 120hz isn't even supported it's gonna be hard to play, it's so noticeable. This sucks lol

The 120FPS option for next-gen consoles is right there with cross progression across all platforms. Not coming anytime soon. Respawn would rather put out another event than any actual upgrades or something the community has wanted for some time. But hey we got a Post Malone event in November to look forward to.

Hello! Having VRR on when youre running 60HZ depending on the game, will actually fuck you up. You only need VRR on if you are playing a game thats below your refresh rate/60 fps

I mainly play fortnite and a little overwatch on console & i really loved playing apex but once i changed to 120 on other fps games playing apex on 60 just feels really bad so i stoppped playing

I know it’s 3 months ago, but next gen consoles run fortnite at a locked 120fps without video settings. Apex would be a breeze it’s just THEIR OWN FAULT of visual clutter that would hit fps which they also need to fix by either fading visuals or Adding video settings. With video settings next gens could push 160fps

I quit Apex in like season 12 or 13 bc of the lack of 120fps compared to all the other AAA titles that do support it going back to apex felt clunky and not satisfying at all at 60fps

There is definitely some delay in br matches still. But not sure what the real issue is
More than likely they dont want to cause old gen will be at a big disadvantage. I havent dropped frames since i got a current gen console. Since then i added another 30 days but on current gen and the game feels great but i wish i could use it to its best potential

The game feels great likely because 60 FPS 60 HZ is all you know. If you were to play it on PC on a higher end monitor and settings with FPS 120 and above, switching back to 60/60 would make you shitty at aiming, and probably hurt your eyes
i have a good pc but even i can barley even get 100fps with everything on low
Pc play at 240 fps have tap strafe and a lot of benefits and we ps5 have same as ps4 that so stupid when we have more players in ps5

I wanted to switch from PC to XBOX vut I am not gonna do it untill 120 fps/Hz 1440p is not available in every game. It is totally unfari from Microsoft/XBOX to marketing their console as 1440p and 120 fps on S model and X model. There must not be any game that could have the say and power on such.

If a console players is in a pc lobby because they are playing with friends on pc, they'll will be at a disadvantage, so if a person that has the old gen console is playing apex and on pc lobbies they are at a bigger disadvantage.... they should hinder new console players simply because others don't have the new consoles, I can see it not being fair... but life isn't fair either some people don't care to get the new consoles or they can afford them and that does suck ngl... but people are already cheating there asses off on console with strike packs simply because it's cheap to get paddles and they have the added benefit of have anti recoil and other mods, preventing newer consoles to run 120 simply because others can't isn't a valid reason to not have it in the game as an option.... the new xdefiant game has it as well. I just think respawn knows they don't have to take the time to put it in because more people aren't complaining about it. It's cheaper to not have it in, basically milking time before they know they'll have too

The s can run it, it has nothing to do with hardwear warzone is way more demanding than apex, i think its more to do with the ballence of the game, i dont play any more due to the frame cap but when i did play on console the gap from console to pc wasn't really that big compates to say fortnite, keep checking every few months so i can play again

It’s not coming. I know that sucks to hear but lets be honest we are not getting it. I lost all hope once they decided to release a “next gen update” and did not even include 120 fps. Not only no 120 fps, but no cross progression neither. CoD have it, and Rainbow also have it. Why is so difficult to make it, if Apex is such an old game? Why they add cross play, but not the input option? I mean, XDEFIANT is not out yet, and they already have crossplay and input options
Plus EA is well know for their greedy practices, making money with little to no effort to improve their games, and what such anticonsumer attitude they have, just caring about our pockets and not about giving us a great experience.
I believe Respawn made a huge mistake merging with EA, knowing that EA is as bad as Activision.
They have been with ea for years though . . .
In my opinion, if you want to play at a competitive level buy a gaming pc. Consoles are more suited for casual gaming.

PS4 was so bad I’m not going to lie. I would get 20-30 fps average. During chaotic fights (Gibby/bang ults) I’d get down to 12 fps. I got the ps5 recently and it’s always 60 fps. It’s a game changer.
