Inspired by the new Sudo Toshiyuki (not confirmed but it's 100% him lol) track that was heard in the new Fresh Season 2024 reveal
Also the beginning is inspired by the other minor tracks heard in the gameplay reveals and the overview trailer
I tried to make it authentic before the chorus part, which i liked so much i decided to leave it in. I'm not a real splatoon composer anyway idc about the mood LMAO
Yes, the gray box that outlines the name of the track is assymmetrical, i am not a graphic designer, what are you gonna do about it?

Coming back here after playing the story, gotta say this is arguably more fitting than the actual OST.
Don't get me wrong the OST is good, but none of them really got the ink pumpin like this track.

Updates in Splatoon typically release a day before their release date that was announced in trailers and stuff. You probably live in EST time, which I also do, so it should be releasing around the same time as me..

We know that off the hook and dedf1sh will perform something together from the overview trailer (semi-confirmed by dedf1sh with a DJ set and pearl in one room, them being in one room semi-confirmed by them being in similar frames with the same lighting). And I can see how off the hook and dedf1sh music can kiiiinda sound like this, but idk since many instruments that we've heard in the trailer music are used by octarian bands
