I was visiting my ex-husband couple months ago and he inherited a lot of things from his brother who had recently passed .
I look over at one of his end tables next to the sofa and behind the end table I could see sticking up, the points of a bittersweet vase! Exactly like the one you just bought, same height. He didn't want it! I sold it for $180 and yes I packed it and shipped it and it arrived in one piece.
Seeing pink elephants was equated with being tipsy. Dumbo saw pink elephants when he got drunk. There's even a song Pink Elephants on Parade in the Dumbo movie.

Oh if you can go back an see if in your favorite booth is that little Grand Canyon calendar is still there i had one an it broke. I want it to display with my grandpa. He actually saved me there. I tripped an started to roll towards the edge an he ran ahead a put his leg out an stopped me rolling. He grabbed me up real quick. I was 9.
The pink elephant might have been selenium - glows hot pink but you need a dual setting black light to see it

I think that lavender small glass vase look thing that you bought with a big wide brim. Is a bulb forcer. You put one hyacinth bulb in that with water in it and it will open up in bloom.

In Illinois, they use to have a giant pink elephant holding a martini glass with his trunk....it stood outside a local bar....we also had 2 cars from a local diner that had big rooster heads on the front and big rooster tails on the trunk of the car ...lol...don't know if these beauties are still around, I live in AZ nowđ
