this woman was cheated out of her talent by her label... or it seems so. India belongs with the list of musical legends for her depth of soulful expression. Her ability to relay her emotional energy on a track and bring tangibility to something we are otherwise impossible to bear credential to is not fully appreciated.
Her vocals were not always solid on her live performances during her time. She didn't have a strong voice. It killed her even with her quality albums.

I remember going to a wedding when I was young and the bride walked down the aisle to this song. I thought it was so odd cuz the song did not sound wedding like at all lol but today this song popped in my head so decided to listen. MAN, as a 31 year old that has been through some things and currently healing from a relationship /marriage that all but broke me, it hits different! I have a lot of healing and self loving to do.
