The sound is INCREDIBLE-WOW!!! I'm (almost) tempted to think Josh (somehow) 'sweetened' it, as it's so clear and heavy, it's hard to believe it was recorded in 1994 (recorded this well without Josh's hands on it).
The audio here is fucking gold. Love it so much.
The sound is taken from the swedish nationwide radio that mixed and broadcasted some weeks later, thats why you hear a strange noise right before Bloody Kisses. That noise is on every P3 live (as the show was called) concert that was broadcasted. That is also the explanation why there are one song with bad sound, because that wasn’t broadcasted on the show. As weren’t the short song at the end.

love how josh silver liked to use stock presets for these songs
some that i could pick out from the korg m1 include "piano 16" prog for bloody kisses (keyboard solo) and christian woman (verses), the "christmas" combi for are you afraid (intro and throughout the song) and gravity (descending keyboard part), and the "full pipe" combi for pipe organ in most of the songs
most people wouldn't give a damn but as a music producer and someone who wastes his time delving into these things it's absolutely fascinating when you pick them out
We need to get Josh out of hiding and release some multitracks to the public. I would love to take apart October Rust and really hear all the layers happening
Do you need what was Josh's preset when playing along the guitars and bass? I heard it was something like a distorted organ.

The original version of Christian Woman live is amazing
So thankful I got to see them 4 times on the "Bloody Kisses" album, my favorite being the Danzig tour. Their sound was titanic, no other band could engulf your senses live quite like they did.
I saw them on the Danzig tour too - probably my favorite gig they played out of the 11 times I saw the band. I miss seeing T.O.N. so much!

I haven't forgotten these guys. Losing their friend must be really awful. Kenny and Johnny are in another band. Josh is an EMT still living and working in Brooklyn, if you can imagine that hellscape. My heart goes out to them all.

Why did Peter never sing the low parts of Christian Woman and the Latin section from In Praise of Bacchus live? Saw them twice live, and he never sang REALLY low notes from his songs. No low notes from Death In the Family, I Can't Lose You, Suspended in Dusk, etc. I'm guessing because he suffered from anxiety it made it more difficult to relax his voice enough to control his low notes well? Not a putdown, I LOVE Type O! I just don't get why he randomly would sing certain phrases of other song lyrics in a really low voice, but he DIDNT sing the recorded song versions with their low notes.
