P0700 How To Fix The Error Permanently

This video explains how to permanently fix the P0700 Transmission Malfunction error code. We explain what causes the problem, symptoms and then top 5 fixes. I made a k-turn yesterday and hit the gas too fast while maybe having the shifter in between neutral and drive and got 0700 and 0516 codes. The trans was sputtering, so I pulled over, turned off the engine for 5 minutes. Check the trans fluid level and its good and it's perfect in color and no burnt smell. Started it up and is running good again. Cleared the codes when I got home. But this '05 TJ Rocky Mtn with the 42rle always runs, I believe in limp mode every time going up my driveway and onto the road, gets to 20 - 25mph and catches/shifts and runs well after that. Any suggestions??

I got error on speed sensor and abs light and check engine with my 05 Subaru outback will the enough to trigger the P0700 code. This video make a lot of sense to me means in my thoughts wheels are connected to the transmission I already know I have a bad wheel bearing or possibly bad speed sensor.

On 2005=06 Jeep Wranglers the TCM is built in to the PCM. They almost all fail. I have several videos on testing and replacing with a new computer on my YT channel. Excellent info in the video to help diagnose, checking powers and grounds at the TCM is also very important.

Top 5 Troubleshot GoTo's:
1. Automatic Transmission Fluid
2. Check Wiring Connections (ECM & TCM)
3. Check Fluid Hoses For Leaks & Damage
4. Check Transmission Solenoids (Recommended to let professional open the gear box to do this so you don't further damage)
5. Check Power on the Power Cables from the Drive Controllers in the Valves (You can use a multimeter)

We use to have the same codes ... try changing the fluid and putting the treatment B&G Transmission Additive works really good... some of those Saturn's are the same as an Acadia as well and sometimes it good to clean the throttle body ...
