You don’t have any footage of the check in process?? Sometimes is very tedious so is good to see to have an Idea if you’re coming tired from the airport or something

Hi! Here is a link to another video where I film the check in process. It’s actually really quick and relaxed. They give you chips and guacamole as well as a welcome drink, all by sitting at the pool area. czcams.com/video/7-iTNMGzxLs/video.htmlsi=DHAaf2SDlZkVnLzF

Hi, really enjoyed your coverage! Since there are mangroves we’re mosquitoes an issue at all? Also was the airport transfer included as part of hotel services or came at a cost? Thanks!

Thanks for watching Somayyah! Yes, there are mosquitos in Mayakoba. Anywhere in that area there are mosquitos but during the time I was there it wasn’t that bad. Every room is stocked with a bottle of all natural mosquito repellent. Also, you can arrange transport for your stay but it is not included in your nightly rate. This transport can be booked with the resort or you can find another company to book with. If you arrange with the resort it’s usually around $100 USD and up. I would suggest this or go with a trusted company for transport as it is the safest and most reliable. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your video. I will be there soon. What are the prices like at the restaurants?

The restaurants are actually a bit pricey but not too bad. A dinner for two people can be about $80-100 on the moderate side with drinks. But of course if you’re ordering a lot it will add up. Some nights they have a Mexican buffet where the main bar is. They will play live mariachi as well. The Sands is the best place in my opinion. The restaurant Saffron is overpriced but it’s dark, romantic but you’ll get lots of mosquito bites cuz it’s by the lagoon. I hope you have a really fun time! It’s such a memorable and breathtaking place!
