What he said that you are repeating is still logic. So he's saying god is only understood logically. Anything theory that can be proven both logically and reason wise is false and can't be accepted as truth.( Fact)
I remember having this conversation amongst others with a 'woke' friend that was determined to find holes in scriptures. I was tempted to just say, don't worry, rest. But nah... We die there. Started opening scriptures upon scriptures. Las Las, na Aunty tire.
I'm used to be one for many years, I'm so blessed to be out of that. One thing I do regret is that where I fellowship now or any other for that matter don't take the scriptures as seriously as JWs do. Since I left I've only had a the privilege once to run into one of them on the streets😂😂, unbeknownst to them that I was formerly a Johovah's Witness. Using the very same Bible he held I brought out an argument pointing out verses that are there but omitted in sermons.

Knowing proper theology is seriously underrated. I've had convos with atheists and even members of factions like the grail message. I couldn't convince them, however they couldn't deny the deity and humanity of Jesus when I was done.
Be calming down. Your pastor will not want you to say that, If he truly is called of God. He learnt from someone who learnt from someone. Don't forget God's reply when Elijah said he's the only prophet left.
I used to think she does not really like me ...or loneliness is making her talk to me all day for 3 months ...and again she says she like a dark guy with beards ...but am fair and average height .this really makes me feel a certain kind of way . After listening to these 7 points of attractiveness I kw she is attracted to me despite not being the kind of guy she to me she would want .
Good day Pastor Iren. How are you doing today? I was wondering if you could teach a lesson on intentional sin or have a podcast session about it. It would be helpful to a lot. For clarification: continuously committing a sin with the mindset of “God will forgive me” Thank you in advance sir
@@davidafolayan2996 she wasn't saying God has not forgiven her, she is speaking of intentional sins. Many people have had this misunderstanding. That my past, present and future sins have been forgiven, does it mean I should continue in sin or not resist it's temptation because I've been forgiven? She does have a solid question here
@@chibuikechiakwa1179 it's not a misunderstanding sir..it's the truth , however, a good teacher is the only one that can make sure people have a sense of responsibility with the knowledge of their identity and the grace of God so I hope pst iren sees the question
I believe it's wrong to think that God will forgive you if you're sinning intentionally. The scripture says that we should confess our sins and "repent", meaning deeply sorry for sin and choosing never to go back to it again, that is when you'll be forgiven (Acts 3:19)
Say what you want about the JEHOVAH's witness; one thing you can't accuse them of.is; not taking Discipleship seriously!! Their evangelical model is serious!!. The people we accuse of preaching false doctrine are dogged!! Let the zeal of GOD's Heart Truly Burn in our hearts for us to go all out by the Leadership of the SPIRIT of CHRIST and so make known the Saving Health of GOD!!
You are right. I use their devotion to evangelism to challenge believers very often. I think I did that even in this sermon (the fuller version). That doesn’t make their doctrines less dangerous though.
….but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;……1 Pet 3:15
Yeahh 👍 This should be like a creed for the believer. Defending the hope we have received in Christ Jesus, that is, the right interpretation of the Bible
Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "'You are my witnesses, ' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.
John 14:28 , Jesus says " ... The Father is greater than I am " ... please sir .... who is he referring to here as the greater father , kindly attend to this
I just listened to the Full message on Spotify; “IMANNUEL: JESUS THE MAN” I highly recommend. My 2 major takeaways are that: 1. As believers, you should know Jesus because questions will always come and we must always anticipate questions and have answers to these questions. 1 Peter 3:15 2. Knowing Jesus is not just for argument, it is for true worship. - You cannot accurately worship a God that you do not know. Thank you PIE. ❤

God has forgiven you,it's a present continuous reality,it's the goodness of God that leads to repentance
