  • River Flows in You is in Yiruma's 2nd album, First Love (2001). It was later remastered in his 20th anniversary album, SOLO (2021). For this piano cover, I wanted to combine his original (2001) and live versions altogether. I performed the new live version which has a key change in the buildup part. I hope you all will enjoy it.
Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2022. I hope you all have a great and safe New Year. See you next year!
From Yiruma's North America 2017 and 2019 Tour, River Flows in You was inspired by an Irish Dance called the "River Dance" and the rhythmical footstep of the dance performers. River Flows in You is one of Yiruma's most famous piece in the world, and is used in commercials, dramas, and movies all over the world for its sad yet beautiful melody that embodies the essence of Yiruma and is often praised for its lyrical melody.

Best version I've heard. Better than Yiruma himself.

Great performance. People rarely play this version of the bridge (much less the one with transposed section), so this is a gem.

It's such a shame that most people only play the 2001's version which is a little too repetitive. They also messed up those grace notes and tempo although it's an easy piece to play 🥲 So far I only prefer QBIC's and Aaron's interpretation because they play this song nicely.

Friend please put the sheet music of this melody that you are playing, I was just looking for the sheet music in each video of this melody but I can't find the extended version in sheet music. Friend Xong give us the scores or where I can download the scores for this song. I like and share your video.

Hey i have a question, if you can please answer cuz i really want to improve. Do you learn piano by yourself or you learn piano by a teacher, cuz i found that learning with teacher doesn't really help me so please tell me if you learn by yourself or with your teacher, if you learn by yourself can you tell me what website or book you use to learn piano Thank youu.

Hey there! Thank you for reaching out!
I learned how to play piano all by myself. Everything was all self-taught since 2013. I used to have a “Teach Yourself How To Play Piano” book when I was a beginner, but most of my practices and learning comes from CZcams tutorials. I did take college music classes and I learned basic music theory. When you’re teaching yourself, you can learn anything at your own pace. Everyone learns piano differently whether it’s with a teacher or by yourself. I hope this helps!

Depends on the genre you want to play. In classical music, technique and its nuances are very important, so you need a teacher. If you just want to play pop songs, basic music theory can help you learn by yourself.
