I can just see a scene with Kono and Tani vs a whole room of criminals. The rest of Five-0 would show up to a room of unconcious/dead bodies and the two ladies having a beer wondering what took them so long.
Racism in any form is unacceptable to me. It has recently turned me against a show I grew to love, to a show that now disgusts me. The new Hawaii Five 0!! I grew up with Jack Lord on ABC and was leery about giving the new one a chance. To my surprise, it was really good. Then racism showed it ugly head. “CBS”. I will not contribute to their greed and will not watch series 8,9, and 10 or any of reruns.
It's only racism if you think that way. They weren't brought into the show as the Main Stars. They were pissed off because they didn't get paid the same. It's not because they were nonwhite or whatever they complained about their race, it was because they wanted more money and were turned down and got their noses out of joint and blamed it on their race. That's Life, not racism. I get turned down all the time in life and I am white. People always fall back to racism if nothing else works.
PS. If they weren't happy with their wages at the time, why complain about it after. You didn't see the other non-white actors leave and obviously got paid less.
Alex and Scott were the two leads you can't expect to get paid as much as the leads, I don't think it had anything to do with their race and they chose to leave personally I wish they didn't cause they played amazing characters.
