Love the super aggressive, take every opportunity, highly skilled expert riding. What a pleasure to ride along, never a boring moment. I see lots of trials experience being put to perfect use. Damn.
I get that its a race and you need to be aggressive, and he was more so than I could be but what I really enjoyed was his tactical problem solving while other riders stopped and looked at an obstacle, he glanced at it, chose the more aggressive line and just rode through it. He is an Excellent hill climber and I watched a lot more of this video than I should have memorized by his lines. Good job!

Bonita carrera la de Pol ! Lastima que nos perdemos 40 minutos de grabación......
Tendría que haber cambiado la Batería (la mía dura similar, sobre 2 horas 30minutos) o cambiar la cámara que es mas rápido. Falta muchísima carrera , nos quedamos con las ganas.

I just watched a video of another rider doing this race. His race ended with a hole in the crank case and him going to the hospital shortly after.

I don't like riders, that ride with their elbows out. A gentleman can win as well (and did).
Definitely an aggressive rider, and I did think he went too far a few times, but overall this is how I'd expect everyone at this level to ride. Some of those guys were absolutely being a bit too gentle, waiting too long, etc. For instance waiting in lines, respecting order... forget that, this is a race
Its a race and you have invested time and money in it so you do what you need to do to win
