    Thanks for the review!

  • @idrinkcocacolaeveryday

    Hi, I truly appreciate for your “REAL” review. Not just like other KOLs showing how many FPS and benchmarks can this machine performs. I’m a user of 10th gen. It looks cool, clean, thin and nice. The problems you mentioned in the video is the real life situation that I facing everyday. So I am sure that this video is a “true review” not just an ads. Glad to hear that most issues have improved in 11th gen. I will replace my 10th gen Razer blade 15 to 11th gen. Thanks so much! Please keep it up!

      At 1080p, the 3060 is perfect; you should still enjoy the latest titles and get good battery life out of your device as well

    Thanks for the video! Very glad to hear about all the improvements. I see you upgraded the SSD. If you don’t mind sharing - did you use the 2nd stacked slot, and if yes, what did you install and how did the fit work out for you? I want to put in a Samsung 980 Pro 1TB but it seems some folks really struggled to install it into the 2021 model.

    • @kazmiee
      @kazmiee  Před 2 lety

      Hey Sandy. The 1tb 980 pro is a single sided drive which means it should fit in just fine. If however you have the one with the integrated heat sink, that will obviously not fit. But otherwise, should be pretty straight forward. I had no trouble installing it at all. :)

    I'm thinking of getting the new Space Asus laptop ... It has 12 gen i9 12900H processor and up to 32 giga of ddr5 ram at 5000mhz ... I'm thinking I get this .. get an Egpu...and run them together, should work well right?

    • @kazmiee
      @kazmiee  Před 2 lety +1

      EGPUS are tricky. They have yet to launch their TB4 variants which i hope would be more efficient. But so far the trend has been that for you to get an EGPU and get a low powered GPU in your laptop could cost much higher than even your most premium device. If you have the budget, Id recommend checking out the new 12th gen devices from Razer with TI variants. Or even MSIs new stealth devices if you are looking to stay portable yet retain powerful hardware

      @@kazmiee The thing is I don't want a GPU in my laptop because the battery life is crap, and often times I do surfing and other stuff on the web and don't game much nowadays. Also, without a GPU inside, itll always run cooler than that of a gaming laptop that has one. I want something that'll last me a minimum of 10 hours at a juice of 30% of power, I mean browsing on the web is probably less than that, and this Asus one that's space related with the extra durability seems like a good option to me. Now the new 4th gen thunderholt 4 has a new great feature that pretty much ensures the minimum power output is noow 40gbps, instead of previous 20gbps, meaning the new eGPUs can take full advantage of the minimum speed of ports. So all in all that's why I'm considering it. I have an old MSI GS 73 sitting here too, but I want to sell it. It's the one with a 1070 inside, but what u think?
      Oh yeah, I forgot to add that yes it will be more expensive this way actually with all the crypto miners buying GPUs too, but I like the setup better. Also want to hop into it in bed and just browse on the web like that or watch CZcams or whatever. My MSI is too big as it's 17inch and my Acer 15 inch is old and heavy, it's got a 960 inside.
      Also, check our Eurocom, they sell desktop grade laptops with a real desktop processor and their GPUs are also desktop grade, instead of the laptop variants. But the battery life isn't good and they are heavy and loud, but extremely powerful.

      @@fightsandfinance7570 some very good thinking points there. If your primary use is media consumption, then naturally it is important to consider battery life. Even laptops with mux switches wont reach 10 hours at integrated graphics alone at 100% charge.. Ryzen can definitely add to battery life but does not fit with your eGPU ambitions. "U" type intel chips with LPDDR can probably get you long battery life but with compromised performance. As it is with life, cant have it all my friend. My best battery experience with a gaming laptop was with the legion slim 7. Could give me 10 hours with normal use with refresh rates calmed down and running on quite mode. Was cool as ice and long lasted when i wanted and was a portable and slim powerhouse while still being cool when i wanted it. You can maybe also check out the new Zflow msi device with 12th gen Intel. You wont have to worry about an eGPU with that either while having great portability and hopefully great battery life

    I don’t think it’s possible to make the speakers with more base, because of the space.

    They need to fix the sound. It literally has no bass in the audio. Even if you go to the equilizer, there is no frequency selectable below 250htz...
    I am currently looking for a solution. With THX I figured it would have massive lows. Nope.

    • @kazmiee
      @kazmiee  Před 2 lety

      That is true. Sound was clearly a low priority but it did improve over the 10th gen every so slightly. But the THX sticker is actually offensive. Putting a brand to something that is widely known as the weak point of this device. Dedicated large speaker grills and they don't do anything. Except collect all the dust. That mesh does not age well with time. That is for sure.

    • @kazmiee
      @kazmiee  Před 2 lety

      They have addressed the speaker mesh in the 12th gen / 6000 ryzen series but from what i hear, sound remains very very average. I dont think ill be able to get my hands on the last iteration anytime soon
