Question 1 On top of vehicle grant, you will need the owner to write out a Letter of Authorisation and bring to the nearest Balai Polis to get it certified true copy. I guess it is OK. Just stay within speed limit, an on their highway, do not speed as trailer can make a U-Turn in the middle. Bear in mind also there are people living along the highway and their vehicles may cross the highway. Safe speed is 70 - 80kph. Driving that speed minimise petrol consumption as Thailand Benzene-95 fuel is expensive. Enjoy driving in Thailand and have a safe journey.
