I think Charles Martinet does a really good job making each of his characters sound like a different person while making brothers sound similar. What bothered me was how they could've used the majority of the Japanese voices for Mario Kart 64. They were the exact same Mario Party voices most of the time, even for Toad.

As long as you keep on placing banana peels on that hill, the other drivers will never make it to the finish line, because they don't have enough momentum to jump over that gap, and there's also no way that the characters will automatically know how to back up and build momentum again. They're all stuck for good now.
