I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go to the Jets with their (likely) top 5 pick. Hutch and KT will be gone but Karlaftis is a beast as well. Versatile, impressive strength, plays with a chip on his shoulder, high motor. Sounds like a Douglas/Saleh guy to me.
100% agree. Not the same kinda athlete but fits the Bosa pass rusher mold that Saleh had so much success with in san fran. Pair him up with Lawson and Quinnen Williams, thats a mean pass rush.

@@12mach No prospect is perfect. This Edge class is really good but the knock on it is that the very top tier guys are still flawed, even Thib and Hutch. The main knock on Karl. is his lack of elite length (the alligator arms you are talking about) and his lack of lower body strength (which shows up in the run game). He's tall, has a great frame, a great motor and knows how to use his hands so I'm not too concerned about the 'short arms'. He's also still pretty young and I think will get stronger as he develops in the NFL, so I'm not that concerned with is lower body strength either. For a guy his size its exciting to see how quick and explosive he is.

If the defensive coaches in Washington are smart , they'll get this guy and find another young up and coming D end in free agency . It's abundantly clear that Montez Sweat and Chase young want to be outside linebackers and not D Ends . They need to stop trying to put a square peg in a round hole , just stand them both up and have the best outside linebackers in football .
