Because they believe that it makes them ''super Christians'', so to speak. It's fully an ego thing - and then they walk around trying to perform 'miracles' and the like. Besides that, there are real bodily sensations that feel like a nerve tonic tingling, like a drug - and it can make you fall down and giggle, etc., because you are quite literally, high. Now, whether that's demonic or due to the nefarious preparations, tricks and stunts of the false teachers I can't say for certain, but my guess is that it's a combination of those things.
I am really tired of these false teacher. People are hurting and they make a mockery of God. As a christian , we need to speak God's truth. Thank you Jordan.

The worst church service I've ever seen was the church on super bowl Sunday & they played football with the bible, that was so disgusting & they definitely need to repent

I was invited to a service many years ago here in Adelaide South Australia 🇦🇺 . Although I was apprehensive to go I did go & regretted it .
I did get up and walk out .
People were acting like farm animals, making loud silly noise acting in a way that I knew was wrong and most certainly not from God , it was just awful & I will never understand how people can believe such behaviour and nonsense is from God .

It was the Assemblies of God out the other side of town here in Adelaide.
How did 90+% of the congregation not walk out 10 seconds after that obviously disturbed person walked onto stage? Craziness.
It is heartbreaking, and it hurts to see such a disgusting and disrespectful performance - in a supposed church worship service.
All church services are a performance where the star of the show reads from a book of fiction.

I'm sorry for the people's going to that so called church. This are not christians. They choose this instead of real word of God.
Outsiders are looking in at Churches like this and they don't want any of it! Neither do I, as a Christian! It makes me angry and disgusted but as God said "vengeance is mine, I will repay." That said, we should warn others about this blasphemy and do it with the Word of God, so I commend you Jordan for what you do.

I was so disgusted by the sin in this clip I couldn't watch it till the end. Anyone who can sit through garbage such as that man yelling gibberish is mentally disturbed. How can a halfway intelligent person believe that is Biblical??? The older I get, soon 69, I find myself more & more intolerant. I thank Him several times daily that He chose my sinful self for His own or I might be one of those deceived people. My salvation is all God's work & none of me. I try to remember that so I am able to pray for them despite their foolishness. Lord, call us out soon but I pray your will be done. Keep calling them out, Jordan.

I can't watch the first 3 seconds. It screams evil, but also ignorance. Then I remember how God says to take pity on the ignorant, we are here to be a witness, to educate in God's Holy name. It's rough to watch such ignorance. So very hard, sad, and.....vomity....

NAR is something I’ve been hearing more about. I’ve been seeing more and more churches going from biblical to fanatical.
I would have walked out if I had been invited to that church service. This is really ridiculous. And foe someone who knows nothing about Christianity ,this could really be dangerous.

Just subscribed. I have to tell you I’m still shaking from the terrifying, blasphemous, disgusting spectacle I just witnessed. God is a holy God. If they were truly in the presence of His holiness they’d be on their faces weeping from His glory. I don’t understand how He is able to be as longsuffering as He is. That’s why He’s God and I’m not. I remember being about eight years old and staying with my granny for a week in the summer. She went to a Pentecostal church and they were having a revival that week. All of a sudden a woman stood up blabbering and stomping her feet on the hardwood floor. I started crying, scared half to death. My granny stood up with me tightly hanging on to her and we walked out and went home. We didn’t go back to the ‘revival’ that week. I’ll be 60 in three months and I’ve never forgotten that. Granny never spoke in tongues or made a spectacle of herself. She was meek, quiet and very gracious. I wrote all the above because fear has no place in a church service unless the Holy Spirit is drawing someone to repentance and the thought of being separated from God and in Hell for eternity scares them. Thanks be to God for sacrificing His Son and making the way to escape from a forever damnation!
And I never saw the man holding a Bible or refer to it at all during his show. 😒

I used to see these charlatans all the time in the summertime tent revivals around here. I'm talking in the 1970's when I was a teenager. I walked out of one, the 'preacher' started his 'speaking in tongues', and trying to 'heal' and lay on hands. I had an overwhelming feeling in my gut that it was fake, I had a sinking feeling of disgust. I quit the Pentecostal church that night, me and my friend just got up & walked out. From then on, I began to notice the 'fake tongues' you speak of--the same people always did it, and they said the same fake words & phrases every time. I can still quote one old dear lady, word for word, after 45 years, I heard her say the same thing so many times. I was disillusioned for many years because of things like that. Took me a long time to find the truth. Still learning, and you are a great help, I learn more every day. Thanks for revealing these false teachers.
What has this to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!?
Where was the pastor? He should have stopped it immediately. One of a pastor's job is to protect his congregation. Also, where were the men in that church. As men we also have a duty to stop nonsense like this.

If I saw that during a service I was attending I’d run for the door! I’ve always related that kind of ‘worship’ (using that loosely) as immaturity. Adults acting like little children. There’s really no other explanation for it.
Goes to show that just because someone claims they’re a believer doesn’t necessarily mean that they are. They can be more lost than a person who’s never stepped foot in a church.
As you mentioned in your video, real solid faith are things that can be overlooked by the naked eye and taken granted for. Patience, honesty, directness, maturity, humility, kindness, gentleness and self-reflection. These are things I would attribute to a mature believer. Not someone running around and acting psychotic.

What he said, zhigiba, sounds like the Tagalog 'sige pa.' It means 'keep going', more or less. Whatever it was, I got nothing out of it that edified my soul. I actually found it repulsive. Nothing in scripture supports this. This mocks God, which scripture clearly says cannot be. You are right. This is from the darkness, not the light.

"Speaking in tongues" as documented in Acts - holy spirit empowered the apostles and others gathered to preach the word in mother tongue of the Gentiles that they were not born to.
There is no angel language or god spirit language or secret worship langage - for he is not the author of confusion - if you want to do that stuff then feel free to learn Greek/Hebrew and Ameriac.

That is what made me repent from the Pentecostal movement and embrace Orthodoxy and Catholicism

In the bible it is important to read context of verses and not pick one out of isolation.
The next 2 verses says
"But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them
"But when you proclaim his truth in everyday speech, you're letting others in on the truth so that they can grow and be strong and experience his presence with you."
So why did God bestow these gifts btw - for exclusive pastor use only that they can interpret for us ???.
The most dangerous words I have heard in a church is "I had a word from God" - these supplemental truths that cannot be verified.
God understands everything in our hearts and minds - there is no need for a special code talk - did he and his angels and prophets not talk plainly ???.
Also al what we need has been revealed.
Mysteries like the words of the Angel after the 6th trumpet heard by John but told not to record is a mystery (sic) but not for us here and now.

@@tibbydudeza I appreciate the response and yes I’m aware of the context of the following verses. The Word says there should be an interpreter to edify the congregation, but still doesn’t say anything about your opinion on the type of speaking in tongues being correct (god/angel speak as you said).

No desire either but religious ecstasy is something I guard against - also I never heard the tongues ("akamil abakash") being clarified in a church ever.

I attended a service from a charismatic movement in India. Everything was fine until after worship, they asked people to come up to testify to how God healed them during worship. This kid went up, speaking with no emotion, saying before today he couldn't walk. Now he can walk. And I'm thinking if this really happened, this kid would be jumping for joy.

I was raised in a Pentecostal church ( i am 66yrs old) i knew the Lord from a young child. I always fought against this nonsense and i was considered a rebellious Christian teenager! I thank God that He kept me through it all. I feel sick when i see all of these actors. Sad to say many of my family and friiends are still following this and they are people that truly love the Lord!
