Anthem of Qatar - "as-Salām al-Amīrī" (Instrumental)

The national anthem of Qatar, also known as Peace to the Emir (Arabic السلام الأميري‎‎‎‎), is the official anthem of the State of Qatar and one of its state symbols. The words of the anthem belong to Sheikh Mubarak bin Sayf Al Thani of the ruling Al Thani dynasty in Qatar, and the melody for these words was composed by Abdul-Aziz Nassir Al Ubaidan Al Fahru.
This anthem was adopted and approved as the official anthem of the State of Qatar on December 7, 1996, shortly after the accession to the Qatari throne of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. For the first time as an official anthem, it was heard at a meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in December of the same year.
The latest version of the national emblem was presented on September 15, 2022 at the National Museum of Qatar. The new emblem depicts the historical symbols of Qatar - the sword of the founder, palm trees, the sea and a traditional boat, made in burgundy on a white background.
