- Hello there!
Today I share my version of Hyperia the new Mack Rides Hyper Coaster at Thrope Park with an extended Layout.
As always I've desigend the layout in FVD and imported the ride into NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation. For this creation I chose to extend the layout of Hyperia, the new tallest and fastest coaster in the UK, at Thorpe Park. I added another inversion paired with some unique airtime moments including a speed hill and a wave turn. Let me know what you think of this coaster in the comments and thanks for watching!

It honestly doesn’t feel that short when you’re on it, people who have ridden it will know it does what it does, it does it well, and it doesn’t mess around.

Thank you! The real ride looks stunning and shows how people judged the length too quickly. I'd rather have a short but sweet ride over one that is unnecessarily stretched out!

That is actually better than what they done. I don't get all the effort they put in and it's as short as it is. They easily could have extended it, the splashdown trim brakes should be removed and more track added , even just another 15 seconds of ride would have made it worthwhile. I don't get it, they got the space. What's another 500m of track gonna cost? Would have been nice to have a helix just before the end and a twisty track bit at the end like colossus. This ride ends before it starts
Its still realy expensive. But I mean if you would have given them 3 million more pounds, it would have been possible
Nah I prefer it the way it actually is, short and sweet and the ending elements focus on airtime rather than just whipping you around.
You gotta think, they didnt have a large area to build in, so they done a good job with how compact the coaster is with the elements.
You arent counting the fact its built on floodland.
The length for the ride felt perfect for me tbh, I don't think it needed to be any longer

Exactly what I had in my mind for what would make the ride feel way more complete (don't get me wrong it still looks awesome as is).
What was the new total length here?
Thanks! This one is 1,214 meters (3,980 ft), so it's about 220 meters longer than the actual one

yeah the real ride really could've done with an extra loop around before turning into the brakes. Still seems silly they have a LSM section after the dive loop for one turnaround and then end.
Actually, the LSMs on the speed hill are trimbrakes. I think the trim isn't as strong as the one on the real ride but regardless it slows the ride down

To be honest I think that's just what the ride needed!
No longer feel we have missed out with the shortness

While these elements look great they feel much more RMC/Intamin than it does Mack
Most of the elements on Hyperia are heavily inspired by RMC anyway
@@bendixonmusic7149 made to deliver g-forces to an rmc? Yes, profiled similar to rmc’s? No, Mack profiles quite differently from RMC.
Love your feedback! You definitely have a point here because especially the last element feels very RMCish. I wanted to include some more unique elements though and I feel this new generation of Mack layout just took off with Hyperia and Voltron so I took some inspiration from other manufactures
