- On our second day in Louisville, Kentucky, it was time to give Mike some PAYBACK, which means NO fried chicken for Mike!
We also went to extreme lengths for a segment we like to call #HorseArtHunters and tried out paddle board yoga?! Not to mention eating ALL the food: coffee doughnuts, blueberry pancake ice cream, benedictine, fried chicken and bourbon cocktails!
Safe to say we had a pretty awesome time.

"I'm going to stick with horse art hunting!" 😂
"THE THINGS WE DO FOR HORSE ART"
Bunch of British boys in brightly colored shorts falling off paddleboards into the Ohio river while trying to do yoga. If that isn't the perfect CZcams moment, I don't know what is. Also, I was not ready for that Anthony Bourdain moment at the end.
The Bourdain comment has me in tears. I was in rehab when I heard of his suicide and I'm still not quite over it. Damn you Anthony, I still love you.
i agree with the bourdain moment. actually, crying right now.
Yeah, the Bourdain moment made me tear up a little. He was a hero and icon for many people in the culinary world but also in addiction recovery and to lose him was a huge blow.
Didn't even occur to me, at least I don't think it did, will go back and watch again.
Oh my god, I wasn't either 😭
Mike's face when they were eating the fried chicken was priceless! Also, the food looked amaaaazzzinnngggggg!!
Where is the chicken recipe
Sorted Food: *makes interesting and cinematic video about the culinary art in Louisville
Us: *H O R S E A R T*
Boys, what a fantastic job you've done. The quality of your videos surpasses most food shows on netflix right now.
They should have their own show
they do. Let's not have them waste their time working for the dead TV industry. Id rather see more of this.
I would like to see them on an episode of Chefs Table, but I fear they would offset the tone for the rest of the series because they way these boys operate is humor and passion not just pretension and edible wank.
As a Louisvillian, I did somersaults when I realized you were in Louisville and couldn't wait for part two! You all did an amazing job showcasing the city and capturing the city's essence!
Please visit again (and find the other 80% of the horse statues)!
I also live in louisville and I think they did an awesome job showing a variety of places for food
And if you go to 29th and Bank, the most common thing folks have for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a portland speedball
I didn’t know about a lot of the restaurant’s that were in this video. Guess I need to get out more.
I very much enjoy these "appreciation whistle stop tours" of places not usually mentioned by prominent food CZcamsrs. The middle of America thanks you.
Usually, middle America gets the snobbery treatment and the cold shoulder of disdain by the media.
I don't disagree. Maybe Chicago is an exception. (It's in the "middle OF" America.)
The best burger I ever had was in America, near the Oregon/Idaho border, in a tiny Mon and Pop diner. It was amazing. Support your local diner, especially now!
The content quality on your channel is phenomenal. The passion and creativity that goes behind every video pours out constantly. Thank you for this amazing experience!
Thank you for watching!!
Horse art was hilarious, best of ebbers
I think SORTED is amazing because of the same reason Top Gear was so successful. Just like how Top Gear is(was) a comedy show centered around cars (vs just being about cars), SORTED is excellent various content centered around food, but it's not just only about the food itself.
Great video!
I believe that is actually spot on.
Yes👏👏
oooooh i never thought of it this way, but you're so right
I said the exact same thing
I love vacation Ben.
This and grumpy Ben are my favourite Bens
Same!
I'd never expect Ben to be so... energetic and outgoing. Oh boy was I wrong seeing him react to horse art LOL
Apparently he was a boy scout. You'd think his demeanor would make you think he was a city living, house cat.
Shh don't remind him, he'll go on forever about his glorious boy scout days and brag about all his badges LOL. Hahaha, but imo Ben's the 'behind the scenes kind of boy scout - the one where you leave alone for awhile and before you know it, he established the whole campsite and has a bonfire with dinner roasting away' as compared to 'door-to-door hi would you like to buy some cookies - the kind you see in the movie UP' kind of boy scout hahahaha.
The finale where they show the boys eating the dishes they previously weren't allowed was the cutest thing ever 😂💖
Although i see no indication mike got his fried chicken 😂
6:43 that look of Mike: "What have I done?" I'd cry if I were him, lol..
I'd cry if I was in any situation where I can't eat at my recommended restaurant :'(((
I'd be plotting who dies first, nobody gets between me and fried chicken 😂.
Damn those hot pink shorts. Headturners or what!
I have a love/hate relationship with watching you Brits travel around my country to places I've never been, eating delicious food I've never tried! #envious #takemewithyou
You should do some more exploring!
lol. 'xactly...
You can do it! Pick a place, plan ahead and go!
I felt jealous not being able to eat that chicken, but Mikes face... so mean 🙈😂 amazing video series guys! 🙌🏼
You literally have no idea how much excitement i felt when i woke up and realized that it's sunday! SORTED UPLOADS! YASSSS!
HORSE ART!
I want, nay, I NEED those kitty print shorts Barry was forced to wear!
Wow. That pie. Have to visit Kentucky now after this video.
All around great series and work...love the bourdain outro...good on you guys! Let us know when you guys do Florida in the US.
Part way through this video I was distinctly reminded of Anthony Bourdain. It was so sweet and fitting that they gave him a nod via editing.
yes Florida... they'll get to see more horse art!
I know it's not the point, but every installment of "[insert here] Hunters" becomes my favorite part of the video. Also, how do you BREAK a freaking axe!?
By axident
@@aelden. Solid pun. Good job!
You guys are breaking my heart with this amazing content. Horse Art Hunters brought me so much joy! Thank you so much for your quiet tribute to Anthony Bourdain. Beautiful.
Brilliant begins mike.... I applaud you 😂
beer...tea/coffee...beer 👍
That Anthony Bourdain ending got to me
There’s something about these Game Changer videos that make me tear up. The passion, the joy, the fearlessness of delving into a new place not knowing what you’ll find. I love it.
The "Horse Art" section is probably my favourite bit of content Sorted has ever made, and that's saying a lot.
The camera work and quality is sooo GOOD! 👍
While you’re still here, Sorted, thanks for always brightening my day when I watch your videos :)
Love this series! Also I love how you guys do sponsored content
So happy to hear Ben say that he'd start working on a hack version of a Derby Pie, because all I could think about during that part was how I could recreate it to experience a version of it here in England. Definitely looking forward to that recipe video once Ben cracks it :D
I literally paused the video and looked up derby pie recipes. Still hope Ben creates one.
I legit almost CRIED at the Bourdain quote popped in there at the end, good on y’all for continuing his legacy
👏 Well done researching, filming, and editing this video.
That quote from Anthony Bourdain made me tear up...
Last weekend I went to Louisville solely because of the videos you have created. I will remain forever grateful to Sortedfood for introducing me to the magic which is Chik'n Mi -- definitely a game changer. One of the top three chicken meals I've had in my life. Thank you for amazing work you do for your audience..
As a midwesterner, I can't even explain how happy this series makes me. So many people skip over these states. I'm from Kansas City, live in Chicago, work for Jim Beam so I travel to Louisville, and I was born in Iowa so my whole family is there! I am so glad that you have showcased these places so well and have enjoyed your time.
The random Ebber’s hunts gets me every time. That and Jamie falling over...a ton 😂
Never thought I'd see Sorted stop in my state!
"THE THINGS WE DO FOR HORSE ART!!!"
I'm dying!
Well, you’ve managed to make up my mind for me as to the next place I want to visit in the U.S.. Thanks to Mike for the awesome research. Love this format guys!!
I am a Kentucky native who grew up close to Louisville. This two part series made me so happy!! Thank you so much for shining a light on my beloved home state.
Love the idea of this and it’s great to see you with a sposor but I feel that you need to send James in more of these adventures.
How adorable was Ben chasing down all the HORSE ART?!
Louisville might well be added to my next USA road trip, last time was New Orleans - Nashville - Memphis, in a muscle car, 3 nights in each and was utterly epic. American hospitality is awesome once they get over the fact you're from "England"!
Ebbers horse art hunting is the best ebbers bit ever
The Machine Shed in Iowa is a must! The Iowa cut pork chop is a thing to experience. Jamie would love Rubes steakhouse either in the original in Montour (very small town close to where I grew up) or in Wakee which is outside Des Moines. I grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa where the only culinary contributions would be the Mile High Chiffon Pie and Taylor's Made Rite loose meat sandwiches. Oh, but the game changer is La Quercia. The raise heritage pigs and make the best prosciutto and pancetta in the US1
jethroes bacon
Planning my travels based upon food because of you guys 😂😂
Ben will forever be my favorite. First fountain hunting, now horse art hunting. What could possibly be next?!
3.51 Jamies best hair look ever 🖤
Ending = GOOSEBUMPS! SUCH AN AMAZING VIDEO!
I love the combination of humor and wonderful shots of food and culture. I've been watching for years, and you guys have nailed this one!
I LOVE THIS SERIES!! I'm SO glad you're going to Iowa! I don't live there anymore, but the midwest deserves so much more love than it gets. It's beautiful, and full of authentic, generous people. I hope have (or had!) a great time!
I must say the wardobe in this vid was on point 👌🏽😂 first the caps at Derby’s and you guys topped it with Barry’s shorts 😍😂 #ootd
Maybe we should start doing fashion vids?
SORTEDfood that’d be great. Can’t wait for that vid 😂 🙌🏽
Jamie is so right, that black garlic chicken sandwich at Chick'n Mi is the greatest. So glad you guys went there!
Those matching pink shorts tho 😋
Louisville Episodes 1 and 2 were the best food (and horse art) shows ever. We should petition BAFTA or Emmy to include best You Tube video in their categories for you to win! The quality of the video, the originality of the script are amazing. 👏👏❤️
😂😂😂Mike rolling his eyes whilst Jamie took a bite of that chicken sandwich with the perfect golden bun....lol....poor guy.
It made me really happy to see the guys got to eat their food choices, they looked too good to miss out on! Especially Jamie's, that looked beyond amazing!
What a video guys! Love this format and clearly you are getting inspiration for recipes! Best part? Horse Art Hunting obviously but also Ben saying at the end that it doesn't stop here! Bring on Iowa!
This was beautifully done, the editing, the cinematography. I almost didn't want it to end
Worth it for the "horse art" alone.
I'm only just discovering this series of videos. It's probably a big budget eater but I hope you have made all you've spent back because WOW.... just wow... an amazing way to showcase a place most of us will never visit in a way that doesn't feel like a travel show.
I hope I speak for most 30 somethings when I say that this is a format that feels made for us. No weird statements, no look at the tourist stuff, no guide to the city. Just having a blast with friends doing fun, non traditional (read: old people's) stuff.
Love your channel and keep up the wonderful work. You lot are an inspiration and a joy to behold.
Love from the Netherlands
Love these trips! I learn to appreciate different parts of the country!
Just to throw this into the ring for consideration - Wellington, New Zealand.
Absolutely phenomenal food culture, incredible care and detail pored over everything from local ingredients, to the larger dining experience, to the drinks that go along with your food. Particular commendation to the cocktail scene in town, with some absolutely world class bartenders to go along with it.
Also some of the most seriously-taken coffee you'll find anywhere. The nearby Wairarapa also has fantastic food, chocolate, vineyards and olive groves - yes, olive groves! AND a life-size working model of Stonehenge, tweaked to take in the Antipodean longitude/latitude and Maori explanations/myths for the astronomy.
Plus in Wellington you've got the whole Peter Jackson, Lord of the Rings connection and Weta Workshops to visit. Not for nothing is Wellington, NZ dubbed "the Middle of Middle Earth". How on earth can you guys resist? (OK, maybe the 24-hour flight and the cost, but still...)
“The things I do for horse art” needs to be a catchphrase
ben's horse art segment may be the best thing youve ever done
So much fun watching you guys investigate new places, good food and laughs. Can't wait for your hacks of some of these dishes!
These videos have made me love Louisville more than I already do. I can’t wait to take the next trip down and try some of these places! I’m so glad you showed the horses, they are so fun!!
This episode was so well done and one of my very favorites!
Thanks so much for showing Louisville so much love (and respect!). I hope more people get to experience it, because there's *EVEN MORE* amazing places to eat that these guys weren't able to get to in just two days.
5:36 That. That is the kind of passion I need in my life.
I love you guys so much! Your passion and attention to detail make feel so invested in your channel, it’s crazy. Thank you for loving what you do and for sharing it with the world.
Absolutely LOVE this kind of content from the Sorted Boys !! MORE, please
THIS right here is inspiring in many ways!
That beautiful qoute at the end.
I LOOOOOVE this series.
I seriously love these videos so much, it is some of your best work!!! Can`t wait for more!
Everything looks amazing! I love this series 😍 great work guys!
Just when I thought I couldn't possible love you guys anymore!!❤😘
Everything you had look so amazing!!
i only found you recently, but i cant even express how much i love you guys and everything you do on this channel. thank you for giving me things to look out for while feeling lonely and depressed in London
Can we have just a video of Ben on a horse art hunt please! In fact a whole series on Ben doing this would be great! ❤️😂
that last music piece is insane with the shots
I am so glad I found your channel this year. You never fail to make me smile, plus make delicious food/meals! I, try to, save your Sunday episode for Monday to brighten the beginning of my work week! Thank You for genuine fun and laughter! :)
As a Louisville Native, this was super fun to watch! I'm away from home right now and y'all showed me some places I can't wait to get back home to try. Glad you enjoyed your trip! Y'all come back anytime!
Wasn't expecting to see you guys running around my home. Glad you guys liked it!
I'm really enjoying this series; the filming is incredible, getting to know fun facts and history bits is quite interesting and above all, getting to see new food scenes from a city we may not be familiar with.
I'd like to just say that this format is maybe my favorite you've ever experimented with. It might be #AD, but the production is a nice contrast to the usual sorted material, which is always great. The visual composition & motion graphics were spot on too. And, as an Iowa native, I'm super excited for Iowa coming up.
The horse art hunting part was amazing
Really great showing Anthony's quote at the end from the shop.
Omg I'm totally loving the hunters. We love Mike more than anything else too 🤭💝
Horse art and fountain hunting are both brilliant additions to these videos 😂
I LOVE your content!!!!!!! Please never ever stop!
Ben’s little scavenger hunts in different cities are a reason to live.
That ending though. ❤️
The yoga looks like so much fun!
Really enjoying these shows of yours and so glad you're getting this level of support. Not only do you guys do such justice to the food in places I'd never normally think of, you deserve to be global! Learning a lot as a result. Next pls
I love the style of this video! I when u guys go different places I would not have thought of in search for hidden gems n delicious food! Xx
These videos are truly incredible, well done lads
