Exactly! Kaz has damn near all his attack sounds from the old games whereas Jin’s are all completely new and make him sound wimpy (IMO)

@@Padlock_Steve Nah 5 & 8 is overall better . T4 just has really bad controls and compare to other games really Inconsistent . Tekken 4 is Goated for it's style and presentation . But the gameplay itself was lackluster . Competitive players aren't the only ones who care about the gameplay in a fighting game .

I was 7 when Tekken 3 released. All of my boys are older now than I was when I was playing Tekken 3.

Lots of people saying that Jin changed from DAH to DYEH is lame. I don’t think they know why the changes. In tk3, Jin started saying EYEH for his moves. Tekken 8 is trying to combine all of Jin styles and words imo.

Um... when Jin was first introduced he didn't have a moveset similar to Kazuya. He straight up had Kazuya's moveset because he was meant to be a replacement for Kazuya since Kazuya canonically "died" in the story and Tekken 3 they did a timeskip with new generation characters.

T3 Jin/Devil Jin have another version of the wgf, if you maxium delay it it doesnt launch but gives you like +12.

@@TK_TheFURY he is talking about Jin tho. In T3 & TTT1 if you hit 2 on the very last frame of the cd motion, it will do an ewgf that doesn’t launch. It was called ewcp - electric wind crap fist

I think Jin is at such a level of mastery now that he doesn’t need to resort to the DAH! for intimidation. He’s fast, gets the job done quickly so it adds to the character that he lets his fists do the talking. Needless to mention but Tekken never really had any iconic moves which people remember compared to Hadouken, Buster Wolf etc. The only one I can think of is Dorya!
Only those who played remember how iconic they are: death fist, aop, dark upper, Bryan’s taunt, jfsr, legend kick, shining wizard, from lows, mids, highs, grabs, parries and stances the list goes on and on, the reason hadouken and many other moves from 2Ds are famous is because they are literally yelled a lot most of then don’t have nothing special about them let’s be honest we would all call it fire ball if not for Ryu and ken screaming the name of their own technique for so many years

the electric dont even have an electric sound in tekken 8 for some reason but they really just need to add the electric sounds to make it feel alot more satisfying

Huh, didn't know that you could combo the EWHF like that in 6. His Bound moves were pretty ass back then.
Then again my electric skills needed a lot of work since those days to use it the way I do now.
Just see combos getting longer and longer. Think 5 was the sweet spot. Wish they would buff movement , make combos shorter, stronger, and harder to pull off but 8 seems to be going in the opposite direction :(
Everyone is talking about his new voice line on EWHF. My question is if Ishin Chiba is still Jin's VA? If not it wouldn't be such a surprise that the VA can't replicate that 'Dah!' shout. I do appreciate however that Jin started to sound a little more like his old T3 self. They obviously do that on purpose as Jun comes back, Jin acknowledges Hwoarang as a rival and is now in control of himself. He did the full arch and is kinda now back to square one. Hence his old expressions and such.

Idk something about old Dah cut through all the music and sfx but maybe that's just cuz I'm so used to it
I like dah more but it a good change just because doing the move feel like I’m helping my opponent to duck it because of Jin make the sound unlike Kazuya and Hei they barely duck
We should keep Kazuya for the future installments for the Dorya.
If Kazuya still has Dorya, Jin should still have his DAH! or YEPU!

Video is wrong , Jins Ewgf in TTT1 was the best Ewgf ever because of Ewgf +Tag special mid and is used in TTT1 as a Guaranteed Techroll left or right and Backroll catch

@@TK_TheFURY to be honest i dont know much about Tk7 or Tk8 at all , if there is any mishima that can Ewgf techcatch out of an opponents techroll like Jin can in TTT1 at any time , then that would make their ewgf just as good.
But i do know there's no Mishima that has an Ewgf after TTT1 up to TTT2 that is better then Jins TTT1 Ewgf+5 version , and its Special mid ( cant duck it )
Its vr hard to do tho, tho id agree its the best electric ever, also heihachis electric/wgf can techcatch too, at least on console.

Ewgf sends your enemy upward, ewgf sends your enemy forward
T3 Electric is the easiest because it needs less execution and it can launch on block after WR3, because in this game it's +17 😅
Unlike T5, in DR, Blue Spark WHF is a launcher
The Electric in TK3 isnt easier it the same as any other tekken game

imo it's much better and more impactful, sound design is one of the best features of tekken 8

@@ArchieGamez Nah, I feel the crunch and sound from each punch when watching Tekken 8. Though, the electric punch is lacking the oomph, especially now with the change of Jin's Dah.
Most of the impacts sound way cruncher and beefier, but some things like electrics no longer cut through the mix like before, some voices are worse, the JACK impact sounds feel hollow and the music is so ass, but 7 already wasn't great there
