Otherwise, the US had no intention of entering WW2. Both the British and the Americans were being walloped by the Germans. What defeated Germany was the mistake they made by attacking Russia. The Germans were defeated by the Russian winter where the temperature typically goes to 50 below zero. The Germans didn't have the clothing and equipment to handle those temperatures so many German soldiers died from the cold temperatures. All of the WW2 veterans, both American and British, always acknowledged that the Russian winter defeated Germany. I guess your unemployment check and video games while hiding your face under a non-medical mask didn't teach you this. Sad.
