Dear friend, You have to wait until device get the coordinates from the GPS receiver. Some times it get quickly, but sometimes it take too much time to gather coordinates.

Yes, It is less accurate. Because it is our calculation error. I get latitude and longitude with 6 decimal places. But one of my friend told, that 6 decimal places have another calculations. But sorry I can't remember what they are. Please can you search it and let me know. Thank you!!!

I have reviewed the SIM card's connections and docking and apparently everything is OK. However the "Sim808 init error" message remains. Regarding the LED's I could see that the CENTRAL LED is always lit while the NET LED flashes every 3 seconds, however the PPS LED did not light at all. You can reduce the memory by changing data types. But UNO has enough memory for this. It gives float values for coordinates. But I transfer into string for send SMS. I think heading is a direction of wind, but I don't sure about that

My serial says: "Open the GPS power success" but it doesn't give me any coordinates. I have the antenna outside facing a clear sky. I'm suspecting an antenna issue. @@hawraajawad9498 It depends. I noticed that if the gps has already acquired the fix position outside, it will keep on working in a closed space with windows for example. But if you cold start it in a closed space, it will not get the coordinates.

its showing "OPEN the GPS power failure" even though I've connected everything correctly.

Yes friend, sometimes I am wait for 30min or 1 hr. Then I reset the system and try and try until it get the gps coordinates

I use arduino uno ,and GPS gsm is sim808 it takes a power is 4v and 0.05 amp after ur code is dumped it shows sim808 init failure and then I power on my sim 808 it said same sim808 init failure I put GPS antenna outside but I had a same problem pls send correct answer as soon as possible bcz Thursday is for my project deadline
Please use 12V and 1A power supply
Your project is very nice and detailed please i want to replicate this project but am using sim800l module and arduino Uno to do this i can see the SIM808 EVB-V3.2 doesn't have a reset pin and the sim800l module that i will be using has a reset pin how do i use my sim800l module to do this project thank you for your reply in advance

You can reset the SIM808 module using arduino Uno. Arduino Boards has rest button, So you can rest using it.

why you use ch34 module? DFRobot SIM808 library has inbuilt functions for send, receive sms and get gps locations

Yes. When you using Arduino UNO, It gives memory insufficient error. But it is not effect to run this code. What is your project and what is your institute friend?

And I tried to send the message to sim808 but the module did not receive the message even though I tried to call sim and have feedback and I always supply 12V for it during the run. I think part of the readSMS () function, because it can not read the message from the external device, it will not run the next step.

Can you send me some images of your SIM808 module and output of serial monitor please? (mewanindula@gmail.com). Because There have different type of SIM808 modules friends. Some types doesn't support to DFRobot library
