Good honest review on these products. If l were to buy them l would pick up the Curl definer and the Curl Gelee and pair them as you said for defined curls and not too much crunch because I hate crunch! Your hair looks frizzy with the Curl Elixir. I have seen your hair with way more definition than that. Fresh!

I’m still trying to figure out the purpose of the elixir in this line since it doesn’t look like a typical elixir. When I think of elixir I think of a finisher.

I pair the curl elixir or curl definer with the gelle. I also have used all 3 together and love it for my hair.

I got my best wash and go with a curl Elixir and the gelle but it flaked so bad. I think I will want to use the curl elixir by itself because when I put that on before putting on the gelle on My Curls were really defined

Fresh I purchased the apple and aloe curl definer and the hold me down gelle and did not know how it works until I saw your video
Would you recommend the gel for a summer wash and go? Just tried the sample size of the Alikay Naturals Creme Brûlée and like my day 2 results. I'll see what day 3 brings when I get ready later.
I’ve been meaning to try more products from Alikay Naturals (I love their refresher spray) but in terms of a good gel for summer I would recommend the Taliah Waajid green apple gelle or the Jane carter solutions elongating gel or the jessicurl spiralicious gel for humid weather! The Camille rose curl maker & and the uncle funky curly magic are also good but it’s not always the best for humidity if you go in with too much. I hope that helps

FRESH.... Thanks for the review especially the mix test. That was very helpful in knowing what products to buy. Do you have the leave in? Maybe you can try the different things together like the leave in with the gelle. And the curl definer with the gelle and the leave in with the curl elixir and give us a follow up on how they do. I know that’s a lot of work 😂 but if you ever try them like that let us know 👍🏽 ✌🏽

I tried that shampoo and absolutely hated it 😫 it was soooo drying! I gave a bottle to my friend, & she tried it & she loves it. 😭 i wanted it to be good lol but i love the curl definer as well! I’m getting the Curl elixir soon so hopefully I’ll like that too! Sorry about your results i was hoping it would’ve been perfect lol
I was hoping curl elixir would have been better too! But I hope you like it!
I don’t think mixing them together in your hand proves whether or not they mix well together. For my hair I usually mix African Pride’s bounch curls pudding with some gel I found at target and I thought it wouldn’t work out because in hand it didn’t mix well. But when I use it my curls are out of this world defined. I don’t have very long hair and so I try eliminate shrinkage and it definitely does that too.

Maybe your hair does not like glycerin....the elixir is the only styling product from this line that contains glycerin. I have both the gelle and the definer and my hair loves them both. I didn’t pick up the elixir because my hair can’t deal with glycerin.
You know what with The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa line i have a lot of frizz too.. how to fix that??? I like the line but my hair seems frizzy.🙄

Fresh.......Oh the camera picked up the frizz. There are many other products that you have used that worked much better in your hair. @@simplycc4534, they work amazingly well together and with my hair type. I did find that I had to sparingly use the curl definer with the gelle. Too much of the definer caused my curls to become frizzy the next day.
